─ 黑白老鼠 ─
這個故事比喻的真是棒！
有一個人在森林中漫遊的時候，
突然遇見了一隻飢餓的老虎，
老虎大吼一聲就撲了上來。
他立刻用生平最大的力氣和最快的速度逃開，
但是老虎緊追不捨，他一直跑一直跑一直跑，
最後被老虎逼入了斷崖邊上。站在懸崖邊上，他想：
「與其被老虎捉到，活活被咬、肢解，
還不如跳入懸崖，說不定還有一線生機。」
他縱身跳入懸崖，非常幸運的卡在一棵樹上，
那是長在斷崖邊的梅樹，樹上結滿了梅子。
正在慶幸的時候，他聽到斷崖深處傳來巨大的吼聲，
往崖底望去，原來有一只兇猛的獅子正抬頭看著他，
獅子的聲音使他心顫，但轉念一想：
「獅子與老虎是相同的猛獸，被甚麼吃掉，都是一樣的。」
當他一放下心，又聽見了一陣聲音，
仔細一看，一黑一白的兩隻老鼠，
正用力地咬著梅樹的樹幹。他先是一陣驚慌，
立刻又放心了，
他想：「被老鼠咬斷樹幹跌死，總比被獅子咬好。」
情緒平復下來後，他感到肚子有點餓，
看到梅子長得正好，就採了一些吃起來。
他覺得一輩子從沒吃過那麼好吃的梅子，
找到一個三角形樹丫休息，他想著：
「既然遲早都要死，不如在死前好好睡上一覺吧！」
他在樹上沉沉的睡去了。睡醒之後，
他發現黑白老鼠不見了，老虎、獅子也不見了。
他順著樹枝，小心翼翼的攀上懸崖，終於脫離險境。
原來就在他睡著的時候，飢餓的老虎按捺不住，
終於大吼一聲，跳下懸崖。黑白老鼠聽到老虎的吼聲，
驚慌逃走了。
跳下懸崖的老虎與崖下的獅子展開激烈的打鬥，
雙雙負傷逃走了。
由我們誕生那一刻開始，
苦難．就像飢餓的老虎一直追趕著我們，
死亡，就像一頭兇猛的獅子，一直在懸崖的盡頭等待，
白天和黑夜的交替，就像黑白老鼠，
不停地正用力咬著我們暫時棲身的生活之樹，
總有一天我們會落入獅子的口中。
既然知道了生命中最壞的情景是死亡，唯一的路，
就是安然地享受樹上甜美的果子，然後安心地睡覺，
只有存著這樣單純的心、少慾望、多一點赤子之心。
最近常常聽到朋友的親友去世的消息，
除了安慰了幾句外好像什麼都不能做了
恐怕有一天自己亦會成為別人口中的壞消息
所以你們有沒有好好的享受你在世上的每一分每一秒 ?
如果剛才你和另一半或是和家人為了芝麻綠豆的事鬧翻了，現在頭頂還在生煙的話，
請你看看那晴朗的天空和那飄渺的白雲，其實你又錯過了美好的一天呀 !
有些朋友雖然不常聯絡，卻偶爾寄個E-mail 、也許是一些笑話、溫馨小品，或是小遊戲給你，這表示他一直在關心著你，他將你放在心裡，也珍惜彼此的友誼。
因此，要時時心存好意！

DAVID - THE MAN WHO LOVED GOD
Bible Reading:I Samuel 16:1-13
Every story has a beginning. Here is our introduction to the man who became the greatest king of Israel. Other kings may have reigned longer. Some were richer. But none had the place David had in God's heart or in the Bible.
We do not know how long Saul had reigned when it became apparent he would go his own way and not the Lord's. Finally God said, “Enough, I have chosen another man to be king over my people”.
So God sent the prophet-priest Samuel to Bethlehem, the home of Jesse, who is the grandson of Boaz and Ruth, the Moabites.
There he would find the one God had chosen. It would have been interesting to see the parade of Jesse's seven sons in front of Samuel, beginning with the eldest, Eliab. Samuel was sure that this fine strong young man must be the one.
Then came God's words spoken to Samuel's heart and mind. Notice the final sentence of verse 7 with its tremendous statement, “Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” How it is still true today.
Finally David, the shepherd boy was sent for. He had no time to change his clothes. He came as he was, his sunburn face showing his constant exposure to the weather.
God spoke again, “This is the one. Anoint him.”
We do not know how long it took before David was crowned king and the span of time between anointing and coronation. At least ten if not fifteen years were to go by. They were difficult and dangerous years and David had to wait for God's time.
Sometimes David was really discouraged (see I Samuel 27:1) but some of his experiences with the Lord are preserved for us in Psalms 73 which he later wrote. A study of his life can be richly rewarding. We cannot cover every detail but will look at several incidents together over the next few days.
A THOUGHT FOR TODAY: If God has given you a promise, He will fulfill it. Wait for His time. God is faithful to His word.

保羅是一位蒙主呼召、神忠心的僕人，特派作外邦人的使徒。雖然今天我們不是像保羅那樣有神特別的選召，但我們既因信得著神兒子的名分，就應一生事奉神，作祂的僕人。
保羅是我們的榜樣，他十分看重自己的職分，緊記自己是基督的僕人，是為服事主，討主喜悅。他顧到神的心、神的旨意、神的喜悅，而不怕人的反對、嘲笑，甚至逼迫，這樣，才能讓福音的真理、神的真道不折不扣地傳給神的眾兒女。
弟兄姊妹們，我們都是同蒙天召的聖徒，一同來服事神。我們日常生活中會面對許多關乎基督徒生活見證的事情，在此我們是否首先考慮到神的心、神的喜歡、神的榮耀？還是先顧到上司、同事、同學的喜歡？是否因要得人的心而隨伙犯罪呢？還有，我們遵行神純潔的話語時，是持守遺傳、將錯就錯呢，還是回到神的話裡忠心遵行呢？願我們在一切事上尊主為大，凡事討祂喜悅，在各樣的善事上多結果子，滿足主的心意。

THE SECRET HE SHOULD HAVE KEPT
Bible Reading:Judges 16:15-25
It's a sad story, isn't it? You have read it all before, and you have heard it repeated in modern days too. Usually when a Christian gives way to temptation, disastrous results follow.
“How can you say you love me if you won't do what I want?” That's a trap so many people have fallen into. To prove their love (was it really love?) they have given in and then felt betrayed afterwards.
Samson's story is particularly pitiful. Perhaps one of the saddest verses in Scripture is verse 20, “He did not know that the Lord had left him”. All the previous strength loaned to him by God was now gone. He tried to do what he had done before, but he could not.
Look at verses 24 and 25. The failure of God's servant meant God's enemies could say, “Our gods are the greatest.” They were wrong of course but Samson's failure made them think that way.
How far-reaching is our witness! When it is clean and honoring to God, it can really bring glory to Him. When we fail, it looks like God has failed. He hasn't, of course. We have failed because we have not appropriated the grace and strength which God was (and is) waiting to give us. Why don't we learn this lesson and achieve victory more often in daily experience?
Samson's final prayer is another illustration of God's forgiving grace (vv. 28-30). God granted his request even though there still seems to be a lot of self-centeredness in it. It almost seems like a prayer for revenge.
What is the major lesson for us from Samson's life? Whatever gifts God has given us, they are to be used for His glory and according to His will.

祂能體恤
「因我們的大祭司、並非不能體恤我們的軟弱．他也曾凡事受過試探、與我們一樣．只是他沒有犯罪。所以我們只管坦然無懼的、來到施恩的寶座前、為要得憐恤、蒙恩惠作隨時的幫助。」（來4：15，16）
世上有各種受苦的人，受苦而又無人同情則更為痛苦，但人就算同情卻不一定能幫助，有些痛苦更是無法安慰，最多只能一灑同情之淚，只有全能的主有能力幫助人、安慰人、拯救人、解決人的一切難處，止住人傷心的眼淚。這位全能的主若不能體恤我們，不肯幫助我們，無意安慰我們，我們就沒有指望了，那我們在遭遇患難，痛苦的時候，只有傷心流淚，悲觀失望了。
但我們的主耶穌卻凡事受過試探和我們一樣，所以祂能體恤我們的軟弱，知道我們的痛苦，了解我們憂傷。祂也極其願意幫助我們，只要我們來到施恩寶座前，就能得憐恤，蒙恩惠作隨時的幫助，祂能搭救我們受苦的人（來2：18）。許多信徒沒有得到這種恩典，是因為沒有到祂面前來，祂要向你說安慰的話，你沒有聽；祂要伸出施恩的手，你沒有拉；祂要解決你的各種難處，你沒有求。所以我們在受苦的時候，自己煩惱無用，求人也屬徒然，還是立刻到主面前來，向祂傾心，祈求，投在祂的懷裡，祂不會不理你，任你痛苦下去，就算是要等一等才成就，卻要立刻藉著祂的靈和祂的話安慰你的心，加增你的力量，用愛來撫摸你的患處。

SAMSON AND DELILAH
Bible Reading:Judges 16:4-14
How many women were there in Samson's life? We know that there were three. The last one, Delilah is the best known. She brought the final temptation into Samson's life. All three of these women came from the nation which was the enemy of Israel.
How old was Samson when this story occurred? Possibly he was at least 40. The last words of chapter 16 state that he had led Israel for twenty years.
We don't know how Samson met Delilah. She lived in the Valley of the River Sorek, which was definitely in Philistine territory. What was he doing there?
Often today a Christian meets an unsaved person in a place where possibly the Christian should never be found. They become emotionally involved and the Christian ends up with an unsaved partner, contrary to God's Word.
Samson may have loved Delilah but the Bible never says Delilah loved Samson. How could she when she betrayed him so badly? She loved money much more than she loved him.
There came a day when Samson played with his spiritual secret. He thought he was strong but he wasn't! As someone has said “Samson could strangle a lion but not his own sensual desires. He could break the fetters of his foes, but not the cords of his own lust”.
Like a moth which cannot leave a light alone, Samson went back again and again to Delilah. Finally in answer to her pleadings, he mentioned his hair (v.13), the symbol of his consecration. He should have held that symbol sacred above everything else. It was the beginning of his total defeat.
In the same way today what might be called the symbol, the sign of your consecration to the Lord? Would it be your daily bible reading? Your prayer life? Have you been playing with these things and other symbols which are the secrets of your spiritual life?
Guard them carefully. Hold on to them faithfully. Don't let anything interrupt your fellowship with your Saviour.

甚麼是美好？（三）
傳道書8：1?17
甚麼是美好？從傳統的智慧中「查不出」（參7：14）、從自己的經驗「找不到」（參7：24）及對不好的事情只能「找出藉口」（參7：29）。這三方面都「找不到」答案，「智慧人」可以幫忙嗎？
1. 智慧人知道甚麼是美好？（1-5）：當時的傳統告訴人，智慧人往往能給人指示如何過美好的生活；為此，人就該遵守王的命令（2），不要輕率離開王的面前，不要參與惡事（3）；遵守王的命令，必不遭受災禍（4-5上），因為這些都是智慧人所指示的，更因為智慧人曉得時機，懂得判斷（5下）。
2. 對比萬事有定期及勞碌如捕風的實況（6?9）：既然凡事都有定時（參3：1-14），誰可以告訴我們將來要發生甚麼（7）？誰能支配風？（參1：1-6：9多番討論一切都是「捕風」的無奈）誰能控制死期？正如戰爭來到，誰能幸免？邪惡也救不了行邪惡的人（8）。此外，是否肯聽王命就有美好的日子呢？傳道者告訴我們，很遺憾，有人管轄別人，並非要被管轄者過美好的日子，而是要他們受害！
3. 顛倒報應是那麼的真實及無奈（10-14）：叫人遺憾的是，很多時候惡人卻有好報，他們一生行惡，不單死後獲安葬，更廣受人稱讚（10）；對於惡人遲遲沒有遭報的情況，也就無怪乎世人的心充滿了行惡的意圖了（11）。既然罪人作惡多端仍享長壽，那麼敬畏神的人將會何？竟然是「義人照惡人所行的受報應」，這是何等的荒謬（虛空）啊！（14）
4. 智慧人也找不到（15-17）：因此傳道者重申他的結論：「人最好在日光之下享受神所賜的分，以及在勞碌中所得的喜樂。」這是傳道者所要表達的重要信息。那甚麼是美好的呢？傳道者的結論是三番的「查不出」：1日光之下所發生的事，人「不能查明」；2儘管人勞碌尋查，總是「查不出」來；3即使智慧人以為知道了，還是「查不出」來。
甚麼是美好？即使用盡人的方法，包括科學、哲學、道德、宗教、經驗等，都不能找到答案，那麼人生還有出路嗎？
耶穌說：「我就是道路、真理、生命；若不藉著我，沒有人能到父那裡去。」（約14：6）
祈禱：主啊，教我明白你是一切美善的源頭。

SAMSON'S AMAZING STRENGTH
Bible Reading:Judges 14:5-9 and 16:2-3
Have you ever seen a drawing or painting of Samson? Most of them show him as a man with enormous bulging muscles over very part of his body. He looks like a modern wrestling hero.
But was he really like that? Probably not, otherwise the Philistines would have known the secret of his unusual strength.
Samson's power came from the Spirit of God. But sad to say as we saw yesterday, while Samson was supposed to be the leader or judge to deliver Israel, most of the time he used his great strength to either deliver or amuse himself.
No one could kill a lion with his bare hands. But Samson did. No one could catch 300 foxes and turn them into the enemy's grain fields. But Samson did. No one could lift a city's gate and gateposts, and carry them miles away up a hill. But Samson did. It would be very interesting to know how the town’s people got them back again!
How did Samson do all this and more besides? By the power loaned him by the Spirit of God. When that power finally left him, he had nothing.
What a lesson for us today! The same Holy Spirit is willing to lend His power to anyone who accepts Jesus Christ and yields his life to Him. It would seem that in Old Testament days, the Holy Spirit would come on a person for a special task but would not indwell him. Today the Holy Spirit indwells and will never leave a believer. But if that person is disobedient and chooses sin rather than Christ's will, the Holy Spirit will withdraw His power.
The Holy Spirit is waiting to use anyone who will give his life to Christ. His power is still the same. He longs to be able to trust you and use you for Christ's sake. Are we willing to allow Him to do it?

甚麼是美好？（二）
傳道書7：15-29
1. 賞善罰惡是必然的嗎？（15）：原來經歷苦難可以讓人智慧加增（參7：1-14）；那麼行善是否必會蒙福？傳道者的經驗是：不一定！因為「有義人行義反而滅亡，有惡人行惡倒享長壽」！
2. 增加公義與不斷作惡（16-18）：如果賞善罰惡不是必然，我們該怎樣呢？傳道者的忠告是：1不要「過分」公義，也不要過分有智慧；不要以為「增加」行公義就會多賺取福分；也不要追求智慧到一個地步，以為自己可以解決一切事情，那可能只是自取滅亡。2不要「過分」作惡，也不要作愚昧人，不要「不斷地」任意妄為，完全無視神的教導，這些人必遭神的懲罰。所以要行公義，不作惡，做個敬畏神的人，就可以避免這兩個極端（18）。
3. 自己經驗能找到美好？（19-24）：智慧雖然可以使智慧人比城中十個長官更有能力，但人總是會犯錯的；所以不要介意人怎樣批評你，自己何嘗不是這樣呢（19-22）？傳道者慨嘆：「這一切我都用智慧試驗過，我一心想得著智慧，卻得不到！」他的結論是：人的經驗並未能為人找到真正的美好（23-24）！
4. 從不好中能找出美好？（25-29）：甚麼是美好的呢？雖然一時找不到，但「不好」的事不是很多嗎？是否可以藉考察智慧和事理，從認識邪惡的愚蒙和狂妄的愚昧來瞭解甚麼是美好呢？傳道者發現了一件事：「有一個比死亡更惡毒的婦人，她有如羅網，心如陷阱，只有那些蒙神喜悅的人才可以擺脫她，所有不敬畏神的人（罪人）都被她纏住。」（26，參箴5?7章論姦淫的經文，其中提及這樣的女子），甚至人會這樣說：「在一千個男人中，我找到一個正直人，但在所有的女人中，連一個也找不到。」
為甚麼人會這樣說？傳道者反覆揣摩（27）；但他始終沒有找出原因。傳道者能明白的，只有這件事：「神造人原是正直的。」人走向邪惡的道路是自己的選擇，人卻找出種種巧妙的道理（巧計）來解說自己的過失，只是為了推卸責任而已（29）。
人生的美好與否，是誰的責任？
祈禱:主啊，我實在是個罪人，虧缺了你的榮耀，但感謝你差派愛子耶穌基督來洗清我的罪。

無虧良心
「我因此自己勉勵，對神，對人，常存無虧的良心。」（徒24：16）
人的心是比萬物都詭詐，壞到極處（耶17：9），但在人心裡另有一個東西，叫作良心。雖然名稱差不多，卻是兩個不同的東西，良心是人內裡的一種功用，也叫作是非之心（羅2：15），是神放在人裡面的，另一種無形的律法，也有人稱作良知，良能等，不過聖經中一貫稱作良心，或天良（來10：22）。有時人說某人良心惡，那是說錯了，應當說那人的心惡，而那人的良心並不惡，不過已經失去功用了，似乎喪失淨盡了（弗4：19），有的如同被熱鐵烙慣了一樣（提前4：2），有人故意將良心丟棄（提前1：19），不聽良心的聲音，不理良心的責備，不管良心的勸告。
然而，如果不聽他的勸告和責備，將來就要被定罪、受刑罰，良心就是見證人之一，顯明你的罪惡。所以今天能聽良心的聲音，聽從良心的判斷，使良心無虧，將來才可以在神面前坦然無懼，也對得起任何人。如果良心有虧欠是非常痛苦的事，有時一件事作錯了對不起人，良心在裡面責備起來是擔當不起的。如果所得罪之人已經不在了，無法道歉、賠償、挽回，而良心一直不安，感到非常懊悔，那痛苦是如劍刺心。我們得罪神也是如此，趁著今日趕快認罪悔改，求主寶血洗淨良心的虧欠，有聖靈的見證，良心才可以平安。良心如果有虧欠，就是有罪的證據，將來一定要受虧損。

SAMSON WANTS HIS OWN WAY
Bible Reading:Judges 14:1-9
Does this sound familiar? Samson met a girl his parents didn't like. Is that unusual? Parents are often not impressed with the choice their child might make. But this girl was a non-believer. We would say she wasn't a Christian. What heartaches similar situations have caused through the years!
The parents pled with Samson. Putting it into today's language it would read, “Isn't there a girl at our church you would like? Where did you meet this girl? At a party? Maybe you shouldn't have been there.” And so the questions would go on.
What was Samson's answer? “I want her. Get her for me.” (The words which follow in verse 4 were no doubt added by Samuel who was probably the author of the book of Judges and with hindsight showing why God allowed this.)
It was living dangerously, however. Two or three times Samson faced life-threatening situations from which only his God-given strength rescued him. Verses 5 and 6 are amazing for example. Samson had nothing in his hand, but the Spirit of God was on him and he easily defeated the lion.
Sometimes Christians find this matter of “nothing in their hands” a very difficult situation to face. They think they must have, for example, big programs. There must be high academic qualifications. There is nothing wrong with either except when we depend on those things and not on the Spirit of God. Nothing can be a substitute for the power of God.
On several other occasions Samson displayed this unusual power God had given him. But God had given it to him to use in delivering Israel. More often he used it for his own pleasure or safety.
That makes us face the question - what are we doing with the spiritual gifts God has given to each of us? Are they being used for our glory or for the glory of God and the purpose for which they were given to us?

甚麼是美好？（一）
傳道書6：10-7：14
1. 美好查得出麼？身後事有誰知？（6：10-12）：承接本書上半部分已多番論述過「勞碌的徒然」（捕風），10?11節重申神的主權（參1：9-10， 3：15）。第12節提出下半部分的兩個主要議題：甚麼是美好──誰能找出甚麼是真正的美好（參7：1-8：17）？以及誰知道生命──誰能知道今天及將來的事情（參9：1-11：5）？
2. 智慧的心在哪？（7：1-6）：死是人生大限，「死亡」使一切變得無意義，但傳道者告訴我們：「往服喪之家，比往宴樂之家還好，因為……智慧人的心在服喪之家。」人若沒有智慧，便會變得愚昧，其所發的聲音，只像燃燒的聲音而已，絲毫沒有半點意義。
3. 惟有智慧能保全智慧人的生命（7：7-12）：是否聽從智慧人就可以有智慧的心？古希伯來社會有智慧人的傳統（參撒下14：2），他們為人提供意見，指示人過成功的生活。智慧人有智慧就不會犯錯嗎？非也，智慧人不一定都有智慧。壓迫或是賄賂會使人失去智慧（7），而驕傲和怒氣也會使人失掉智慧（8-9），所以真有智慧的人就不要說：「為甚麼從前的日子勝過現在呢？」（10）
人生在世，「擁有」智慧與物質都是好的，都是有益的（11），因為智慧與物質都可以庇護人，但惟有智慧能保得住智慧人的生命（12）。因此，智慧人並非一定會有智慧！
4. 亨通患難並存使人查不出未來（7：12-15）：人生在世要常在生活中經歷神的作為（13），所以當我們能在神所賜的年日中吃喝，就當好好享受神所賜的一切（參2：24，3：13、22，5：18?20），而在患難受苦的日子時，不要只顧自怨自艾，乃要好好察看神在其中要我們得著甚麼智慧（14）。神使「亨通」與「患難」並存，為的是要人更深明白神在人生中的絕對主權，我們要明白，人無論如何，也「查不出」未來的事將會如何發生的（14）。
被膏立的人，若在生活行為上沒有與之相稱的美名，是毫無意義的（7：1）。一個人的身分與他所做的事比較，哪樣更重要？不少人往往徒得名分，卻沒有活出與之相稱的生命，就如作信徒的卻沒有活出與主同行的生命，這只是徒有信徒之名而已。
祈禱：主啊，求你指教我怎樣數算自己的日子，好叫我得著智慧的心。

RE:The ultimate weapon

「我們爭戰的兵器，本不是屬血氣的，乃是在神面前有能力，可以攻破堅固的營壘。」（林後十4）
宇宙中有一種爭戰是屬靈的，就是神和撒但的爭戰。雖然主早已藉著死，敗壞了掌死權的魔鬼，且完全得勝，然而撒但在主回來之前仍會茍延殘喘，繼續牠迷惑、敗壞人的工作。所以，保羅在書信中曾多次提到靈界的爭戰，要我們透過許多外面的人、事或物，識透仇敵撒但的計謀，且靠著主來誇勝。
今天許多聖徒常忽略撒但的計謀，就如在福音的事上，有些人十分硬心不肯接受主；表面看來，好像是某些緣由令他們不能信主，其實是撒但弄瞎了他們的心眼，在他們的心中築起堅固的營壘，令他們的心剛硬不信。若我們多次儆醒禱告，奉主的名捆綁撒但在人心的作為，就必奪回人的心意，使他們歸向基督。昔日使徒保羅就是這樣，常常儆醒恆切禱告，在主的名裡誇勝，把福音傳到各處。
經上說：「我們爭戰的兵器，本不是屬血氣的……」什麼是「我們爭戰的兵器」呢？不是我們屬血氣的方法，或是血氣之勇，而是藉著信心在主名裡的禱告，在神面前有能力的禱告，因為耶穌說：「凡你們在地上所捆綁的，在天上也要捆綁；凡你們在地上所釋放的，在天上也要釋放。」（太十八18）

SAMSON -- THE WEAK STRONG MAN
Bible Reading: Judges 13:1-13 and 24
Samson's life was a riddle. How could God use a man who showed his own self-will so frequently and whose life was far from holiness? The same question could be asked today. How can God use any of us? It is only by His grace. If He waits until we are all perfect, He'd never have anyone to use! Praise God that He does use us in spite of our imperfectness.
One of the amazing facts of Scripture is that Samson, the weak and willful man with all his sins and failures, is listed in the Who's Who of Faith in Hebrews 11. Isn't that encouraging? It shows again the grace of God.
How did his story begin? You have often heard the phrase, “I was brought up in a Christian home.” Samson could have said he was a child of a believing home. Even before his birth he was dedicated to God. Josephus, the Jewish historian, also mentions Manaoh as a most godly man and his wife as an exceptional woman.
He also was a Nazarite. God had said he must be. He must refrain from eating and drinking anything which came from grapes. He must let his hair grow and never have it cut. He was to be different (Numbers 6).
However, he seems to have shown the seeds and signs of a strong-willed child at a very early stage. We do not know how his parents disciplined him. Carefully speaking, we have to say that when a child comes into a home in an unusual or special way, it is often hard for the parents to really discipline that child.
God gave Samson a wonderful beginning and many remarkable blessings. Read verse 24 again. Why did he go wrong? We can only say what has been often said, 'There, but for the grace of God…...”
Thank God again today for the kindness and grace in our lives.

有神有理有分有喜樂
傳道書5：1-6：9
1. 「神」才是人生的出路（5：1-7）：面對著「無後無伴無繼」的人生，人實在需要一位有真實慈愛而又有能力的神作伴，但這位掌管一切又賜喜樂生命的神，是可以親近的嗎？答案是肯定的。不要以為獻祭就是親近神，需知道更重要的是順服（1）；在神面前也不是胡亂許願（妄求），更重要的是用心靈按真理禱告（2-6）。親近神不在於我們做甚麼，而在於敬畏祂（7）。
2. 人生際遇非無理（5：8-10）：窮人受欺壓實不為奇，但可幸的是在那些欺壓者的上面還有人管理他們，「在他們之上還有更高的」（8）。就如不管是平民還是君王，都可從土地所出的得到供應（9）；可是貪心的人卻不會因此感到滿足（10）；這也是使人生變得「虛空」的原因之一。5：11-6：9是兩段對「擁有」的反省，兩段中間插進了結論（5：18-20）。
1. 「擁有」的第一段反省（5： 11-17）：隨著人擁有的增多，他所擁有的反而使他不能安睡（11）！
13?17節是以一個例子來闡明這個道理，人怎樣從母胎赤身而來，也必怎樣赤身而去，人為「風」勞碌毫無益處。
擁有不是豐盛，甚麼才是？豐盛是（5：18-20）：1在神所賜一生有限的年日中吃喝；2享受神給人在日光之下勞碌所得的一切；3認定今天所擁有的一切是神所賜的分；4認定所擁有的都是神的恩賜；5不要只是看見自己所「擁有」的；6讓神的喜樂充滿我們的生命。這是全書上半部分的信息總結。
2. 「擁有」的第二段反省（6：1-9）：這段經文與5：11-20有很多類似，甚至是平衡的記載。11:2節講述「看見」、「憾事」，就是人得了財富卻無法享用（比較5：13-14上）；23:6節說明這個人就算兒孫滿堂，但若不滿足於所「擁有」的，那麼即使他壽享千年，也不能享受到甚麼（比較5：14下-16上）；37:9節告訴我們，由於人的心總填不滿，人無論是智是愚，都一味的去追求「擁有」，看得見的都想「擁有」，這是何等的「虛空」，何等「徒然」（比較5：16下-17）。
6：1-9的內容是再次強化5：18-20的結論──能肯定神所賜的一份是美好的人，他們必充滿喜樂。今天你也能肯定神賜給我們的那一份是美好的嗎？
祈禱：主啊，感謝你已把最好的賜給了我。

如經上所記：『他施捨錢財，周濟貧窮；他的仁義存到永遠。』」（林後九9）
保羅在本章引用舊約經文來勸勉哥林多教會的眾聖徒，要在施捨、周濟貧窮聖徒的善事上，甘心樂意的擺上。
在《聖經》裡，我們清楚看見神的心意，乃是要我們顧念窮人和有缺乏的肢體。不但在舊約裡常有這樣的提醒，在福音書中耶穌也曾教導我們要在暗中施捨（參太六3-4）；要給人，就必有給我們的（參路六38）。保羅也曾多次帶著外邦教會的捐項，供給猶太聖徒中的窮人，又在本處勸勉富足的哥林多聖徒，慷慨捐獻給在困苦、貧窮中的馬其頓眾教會，可見神的心意乃是要我們作一個施比受更為有福的人。
施捨錢財，周濟貧窮的肢體和世上困苦無助的人，不但能實際幫助有需要的人，且有永恆的價值，如經上說：「他的仁義存到永遠。」是的，這樣因愛主而行的善事，必蒙主悅納。還有，顧念窮人更是愛心的實際，經上說：「我們相愛不要只在言語和舌頭上，總要在行為和誠實上。」（約壹三18）
弟兄姊妹們，今天在我們四周有許多有缺乏的肢體，我們有否伸出援助之手，樂意施捨，實際關心他們呢？今天我們不時耳聞目睹許多常遭災難、身處窮困的世人，我們是否甘心施捨給他們呢？但願我們都能在善上富足，樂意供給人，榮耀歸主名。

HOW THEN SHALL WE LIVE?
Bible Reading: 2 Peter 3:10-18
What kind of a Christian should you or I be in the light of what Peter has said and in the light of Christ's return?
Almost anytime in the New Testament when the second coming of Christ is mentioned there is an ethical application too.
First our lives must be characterized by holiness (vv. 11, 14). In contrast with the lifestyle of false teachers, a Christian's life must be patterned after Christ's holy life.
Then the truth of Christ's return should bring peace to our hearts (v.14). However difficult the way may be now, when Christ comes, every problem, every difficulty for the Christian will be resolved.
The Living Bible paraphrases the first part of verse15, “Remember why God is waiting. He is giving us time to get His message of salvation out to others.” That brings out our responsibility while waiting for Christ's coming.
Peter also goes back to his thought of holding on to the Word of Truth. He links himself with Paul and says, “Don't twist the Word of God to make it mean something it doesn't mean.” The Living Bible says the result of doing so can only be disaster.
His last instruction sums up what ought to be the aim of every believer, “To grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.”
To do so brings spiritual maturity. Paul said it so well in Philippians 3:14. His one desire and aim was to be like Christ. The Amplified Version reads, “that I might become progressively more deeply and intimately acquainted with Christ.” (Philippians 3:10)
Shouldn't that be the aim of each one of us? What are we doing about it? Can we ask the Holy Spirit each day to make this goal a continuing reality in our lives?

STRONG WORDS TO PETER'S FRIENDS - AND US
Bible Reading: 2 Peter 3:1-9
Four times in this final chapter Peter emphasized what he had said by the words “beloved” or “dear friends”. The word is similar to “agape”, the New Testament word for love.
In verse1 Peter says, “I want you to think about, I want you to remember what has been said by the prophets and by Christ Himself.”
In verse 8, “Don't forget how God looks at time. It is very different to our concept of it.”
In verse 14, Peter's reminder is, “live in the light of Christ's possible return at any moment.”
In verse 17, Peter's final words to his brethren in Christ are, “Be on your guard. You know about false teachers. You know about Christ's return. Hold on to what you know.”
Peter is still emphasizing the truth of the Word of God. There will be those who will scoff at it, especially the fact of Christ's second coming. He states plainly God will fulfill His promise and in His time Christ will come.
Peter also speaks of the wonderful grace and the continuing desire of God (v.9). God does not want anyone to be lost. He wants them to come to repentance now so that He can save them before it is too late. If a person is eternally lost, it is not because God wants it, but because he or she has chosen his or her own way instead of God's.
He or she cannot blame God.
This is both encouraging and saddening. It is a comfort to those who are praying for the salvation of loved ones. God is on your side. He wants what you want. God is doing all he can to bring them to repentance.
Hold on your praying. It may be “all you can do” but God wants their salvation too. Pray on. God is faithful and you will see the answer to your prayers.

傳道書3：16-4：6
傳道者在前文（參3：1-15）講述他的論證時，在第10節用了「我見」這個片語引出了結論及對讀者的忠告。如今在這個段落的下半段，他再以「我見」帶出三段人生中的觀察（3：16-22，4：1-3，4：4），4章4節的「捕風」一詞指示了這個段落在此結束，只是傳道者在結束時，再以兩節的話來作為本段的結論（5-6），因此「捕風」一詞在4章6節再度出現，作為標記。
1. 第一個觀察（3：16-22）：傳道者從「不公義的事無處不在（16）、前文講述的萬事皆有定時（17下）、致使神必審判」這個觀點作開始（17上），加上配合之前說及智者與愚人的終局相同（參2：16）之論調，人與牲畜最終都要歸回塵土，兩者並無分別（19-21），所以人「最好是在自己所作的事上自得其樂，因為這是他的分。」（新譯本，22；比較2：24及3：13）
2. 第二個觀察（4：1-3）：承接不公義遍存的觀點（3：16-17），傳道者指出人往往有生不如死的慨嘆，甚至有人會希望自己從沒有出生；這是人對於受欺壓所產生的無奈感受。
3. 第三個觀察（4：4）：人各樣的勞碌和各種挖空心思的工作，原來只是為了爭競，為了要滿足自己的心，這真是空虛！
4. 無所有卻無所缺的喜樂（4：5-6）：所以，愚昧人（指不認識神的賜予及神是掌管萬有的人）手中所緊緊把持的一切，其實只是虛空，豈不知他們只是在吃自己的肉──燃燒自己的生命（5）！人若能明白原來今天所有的一切原是神的賜予，即使所擁有的只是一掌之份（6上，新譯本譯作「一掌盛滿安寧」），但那種安寧，那份喜樂，又豈是那些雙手擁有了自己勞碌所得的空虛之人所能及的呢（6）！
今天不在乎我們擁有多少平安喜樂，如果我們只著眼於此，那麼人與那些沒有神的靈、出生只為著覓食和繁殖的牲畜又有何不同呢？當我們認定神已經賜予我們最好的一份，然後就在這一份上努力為神而活的話，縱使那一份在人看來只是那麼微小，但足可以讓人在其中有平安喜樂。
祈禱：主啊，求你教我認定今天你已把最好的賜給了我。

追求聖潔
「你們要追求與眾人和睦，並要追求聖潔，非聖潔沒有人能見主。」（來12：14）
我們信主之後，還有許多應當追求的，並不是就此等候將來上天堂，現時在世界中可以過一種屬肉體的生活。這是與神的旨意不合的，我們信主的人在地位上已經改變了，但在實際的生命上還需要徹底的改變。神對我們也有許多目的和要求，盼望我們能夠達到，以免達不到神的各種目的，而失去可能得到的各種福分和獎賞。
有一個要求是很重要的，那就是神的旨意是要我們成為聖潔（帖前4：3，7），因為神是聖潔的（彼前1：15），人非聖潔就不能見主，我們不能設想在聖潔的神面前會容許罪惡和污穢，而不與之遠離，不聖潔不但不能蒙神的喜悅，並且要遭到管教和懲罰。如果管教和懲罰仍達不到目的時（來12：10），將來就要被棄絕了（來12：16，17），因為神是要我們在祂面前成為聖潔，沒有瑕疵（弗1：3；5：27）。
為此我們要潔淨自己，除去身體靈魂一切的污穢，敬畏神得以成聖（林後7：1）。這必須求主藉真理，就是神的道，和聖靈的感動使我們成為聖潔（弗5：26，約17：17；帖後2：13），以至全然成聖（帖前5：23），像主一樣（約壹3：3）。

HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF
Bible Reading: 2 Peter 2:1-11
How many cults and false teachers are there in the world or even in churches today? Peter says that is nothing new. There were false prophets in the Old Testament days. On some occasions they even outnumbered the true prophets. There were false prophets in the early church. We have many today who continually lead people astray often through the power of their dominating personality.
How can we detect false teachers? Peter gives us several important clues. In verse 1 he says that they will follow the same method Satan used in the Garden of Eden. They may not openly deny the Word of God but will they cast doubts on it. Or they will say, “It doesn't really mean what you think it means.” They will then suggest other interpretations - theirs.
They will usually advocate open immorality. As we have seen it in recent years, the name of Christ is dragged consequently down and loses its rightful respect.
Thirdly they will emphasize money. Peter calls this “greed” (v.3). They exploit their followers. They have a life-style far above most of their disciples. Some today are fabulously rich but never account for the money they handle.
There are other indications, but Peter says, “God will deal with them. He did in Old Testament times. He will do it again now.”
Peter also reminds us how God can deliver His children even when judgment is falling. Peter mentions Noah and Lot, two remarkable examples of God's power to save.
Note the second part of verse 9. It speaks of certain judgment but the first part is so clear: “The Lord knows how to rescue godly men from trials.” Isn't that ncouraging? As certain as judgment may be, God's care for His own is just as certain. Hold on to that truth, now and always.

傳道書3：13-15
3：1?4：6是一較長的單元，這段直至4章6節才看見段落標記：捕風。今天我們先思想上半部分。為何人一生勞碌是那麼無奈的呢？傳道者在本段藉著加入「人生在世的時間」這個元素，進一步闡述上文的道理。
1. 凡事都有定期，天下萬務都有定時（1）：這句話是下文的標題。注意「天下萬務」所指的是人手所做的一切事務，與1：3-11所提及的自然循環不同。
2. 建立拆毀，結合分離，人生難免（2-8）：這是一首「時間詩」，其中包含了十四對「有時」。這詩可分作三段，首六對是講述「建立與拆毀」的活動（2-3），然後是為該等事而有的情緒的時候〔4，哭、笑、哀慟、跳舞（快樂）〕；接著的六對是講述「結合與分離」的活動（5-6），然後是一對為那些事情而有的情緒的時候〔7，撕裂（悲傷時）、縫補（悲傷過後）、靜默、言語〕。前六對訴說了人生的喜樂及哀傷乃來自「建立與拆毀」及「結合與分離」，這兩種情況的出現導致個人層面（愛恨有時，8上）及群體層面（戰爭與和平有時，8下）的不同反應。
3. 這首詩要說明甚麼？（9-15）：1說明人為自己籌算的一切，本是無益及叫人煩惱（9-10）。2說明萬事及時間均在神掌管之中，所有事情在神的時間中都會成為美好（11上）。3引出神將永恆意識放在人的心裡，雖然人始終不能察覺神的作為（11下）。4再次說明人生最好之處，莫過於認定所有遭遇都是神的恩賜，然後在其中享樂（12-13，比較2：24）。5神所作的一切都必永存，為要使人敬畏神（14）。6神使事物重新出現（15）。
人生的滿足只能靠自己雙手努力爭取而得嗎？傳道者說萬事都在神的掌管中，過去如是，今天如是，將來也如是。若人以為靠自己可以得到滿足，結果只會是失望與無奈，不認識神主權的人，只會窮一生的時間去爭取，為要填滿心中的不足，但結果還是找不到喜樂；而認識神是「人生在世的主」的人，可以常常有喜樂，因為他們知道，無論得著甚麼，這都是愛我們的主的恩賜（13）。
祈禱：主啊，求你管理我手所作的一切。

丟在外面
「把這無用的僕人，丟在外面黑暗裡，在那裡必要哀哭切齒了。」（太25：30）
許多信徒不明白將來所要受的審判和報應以及所有的分別是何等大，後果是何等嚴重。總以為已經相信就得救了，不會和世人一同滅亡了，再沒有什麼問題了，卻不知將來還要受到審判（彼前4：17；雅5：9，12；太16：27；林後5：10）。聖經對此也講的很清楚，不容輕忽。
主耶穌講到祂再來時，就特別提到這件事，祂先講到善僕與惡僕的報應（太24：45-51）。善僕主要派他管理一切所有的，而惡僕卻要重重的處治，被定為和假冒為善的人同罪。在那裡必哀哭切齒了。然而又講到十個童女的比喻，她們都去迎接新郎，但有智、愚之分，預備不預備油之別。結果，預備好的同祂進去坐席，而愚拙的卻被關於門外（太25：1-13）。以後，又講到與眾人算賬，良善忠心的僕人，可以進去享受主人的快樂，有權管許多事，而那又惡又懶的僕人則被丟在外面黑暗裡，哀哭切齒（太25：14-30）。
可見將來的分別很大，報應很重，並不是所有信徒都進天國，享快樂，得榮耀。有的是要被丟在外面哀哭切齒。雖然懊悔，但已太晚了。因為凡稱呼主阿，主阿，的人不能都進天國，惟獨遵行天父旨意的人才能進去（太7：21）

「我們與神同工的，也勸你們，不可徒受祂的恩典。」（林後六1）
神在每一個時代都有祂的工作，就如藉著福音拯救世人，牧養、造就眾聖徒，建造祂的眾教會。每一個時代，神都感動許多人來體貼祂的心意，來與祂同工。昔日，使徒保羅就是一個與神同工的人，他廣傳福音，牧養神的群羊，照著神的心意勸勉所有神的兒女，不徒受神的恩典。
何為神的恩典呢？神將祂的獨生子耶穌基督賜給我們，這是恩典；神賜我們美好的救恩，這是恩典；祂賜我們生命、聖靈，這是恩典；祂賜我們在基督耶穌裡諸般的福分，這是恩典；祂常施恩、憐憫、牧養、照顧我們，這是恩典。
神因著愛，在基督裡賜給我們宏恩、大愛，為要我們常常信靠祂的恩典而活，且生命長進，過榮耀神的生活。我們既是同蒙神宏恩厚愛的人，就不可徒受祂的恩典，也就是不可對主冷淡，或不冷不熱，也不可忘恩負義，不肯服事主，更不可羞辱主名，失去生活見證。因此，我們應趁著還有生命氣息的時候來愛主，常常以感謝為祭獻給神，過分別為聖的生活，以事奉神為樂，作一個知恩、感恩而報恩的人，讓神的厚恩越來越多的顯在我們身上，且恩上加恩。

無後無伴無繼無意義
傳道書4：7-16
在指出了「神的作為無限」及「人的作為叫人無奈」之後，傳道者在接下來的段落中，向他的聽眾（讀者）闡述三種「沒有」（7-16）的無奈。
1. 無後的無奈（7-8）：一個無兒子無兄弟的人，儘管他終生勞碌已賺取財富無數，但他卻從不以自己所擁有的為滿足，終有一日他會捫心自問：「我終日勞勞碌碌，刻薄自己不去享受是為誰呢？」他終有一天感到生命是何等荒謬。
2. 無伴的無奈（9-12）：二人勝過一人，那是不爭的事實，兩人勞碌所得當然比一人所得的為多；要是其中一人遇到意外，另一人也可即時給他救助；如果遇上了襲擊，一個人也許抵擋不住，但二人合力就能「擋得住」了，這就有如一條由三股合成的繩子般，不容易折斷。
3. 無人繼續追隨的無奈（13-16）：一個貧窮但有智慧的年輕人，勝過年老不肯納諫的愚昧王。儘管他出身寒微，但當他起來作王的時候，國中的人都願意「隨從那取代老王的年輕人」，擁戴他為王。然而當那一代的人過去了，後來的人卻可能由於種種原因而不喜歡他（像約瑟；創37?50章）。這種事情真是何等荒謬絕倫，他過去的艱苦經營與努力，竟都成了泡影。
人生是否有後裔、有同伴及有人繼續追隨便是有意義呢？
從一開始，傳道者便一再向讀者講述在「日光之下」生命的「虛空」，以及「勞碌」的徒然（參1：2-2：23），但當在2：24-26談及生命是神所賜後，這悲觀的處境就有了出路。在3：1-4：16，傳道者先強調了神在萬事萬物中擁有的主權（神的作為），然後藉著不同例證，領讀者看見人作為的有限及無奈（參3：16-4：6），接著是指出「無後無伴無繼」的無意義景況。
人生真的是沒有出路嗎？在下一個段落──全書上半的最後一段中，傳道者要向讀者指出人生是有出路的，那就是親近神（參5：1-７），然後藉著反省人生中所「擁有」的，指出了惟有認定神所賜的分，人生才有喜樂（參5：8-6：9）──豐盛的生命。
祈禱：主啊，求你教導我真正明白，人生在世若離開了你，無論我擁有甚麼都是沒有意義的。

「就是他們在患難中受大試煉的時候，仍有滿足的快樂，在極窮之間，還格外顯出他們樂捐的厚恩。」（林後八2）
我們常以為，神賜給他兒女們的恩典，無非是艱難中的拯救，生活中隨時的扶持、眷顧，以及赦免、饒恕我們的過犯，並從神而來的祝福。然而，保羅在本章卻提到神那更大的恩典，就是昔日馬其頓眾教會所領受、所經歷的。他們能在大試煉中，仍有滿溢的喜樂，在極窮之間仍顯出樂捐，這全是神的恩典。
按理人在苦難中只能憂愁、絕望，怎會有喜樂呢？惟一的原因是：他們在患難中面對大試煉時，切切的依靠主，多方的恆切禱告，經歷了主豐滿的同在，叫他們不但不喪膽，反而享受了聖靈中的喜樂。還有，人在極窮之間是很難慷慨樂捐的，因自己正處於困苦中，何來幫助別人呢？然而，昔日馬其頓的眾教會都蒙神的恩典，彰顯基督捨己的大愛，格外顯出樂捐的厚恩，積蓄許多財寶在天上。
有人在極富足中卻是憂愁，心靈虛空、痛苦，又是自私自利，吝嗇度日，因他遠離主；有人在極窮中卻是滿有喜樂，且樂於捨己捐輸，顧及別人的需要，因他有主的同在，被主充滿。所以，患難、試煉、貧窮、困苦並不能攔阻我們經歷主，反而叫我們更多禱告，經歷從主而來的安慰和聖靈中的喜樂。昔日馬其頓眾教會所蒙的恩，但願我們現今都能同蒙此恩，榮耀主名。

因信得勝
「凡從神生的就勝過世界，使我們勝了世界的，就是我們的信心。」（約壹5：4）
世界對人有很大的吸力、壓力、魔力，這一個小小的世界和其上的一些事竟能約束、吸引、迷惑千千萬萬的人，叫人一生就思慕這些，也因此懼怕、憂慮，而被世界完全掌握，無法擺脫，不能得自由。結果是從世界一無所得，且被世界拋棄。
然而有一班人因信耶穌基督而重生了，得到屬天的生命，他們被另一地方，另一些事所吸住，那就是與神和天上以及永世的事緊緊地聯繫在一起。因為這新的生命是屬神的，永遠的，它與世界沒有關係，它不屬世界，也不愛世界，它看世界為虛空無益，對之毫無興趣。這也是神兒女們的信心，凡從神生的都有這個使命和信心在裡面。
肉體是與物質的世界緊緊聯在一起的，它與神的國無關無份，肉體只求目前的好處，它對於未見的屬靈的事毫無興趣和希望，在信徒身上，這個肉體的力量和思想仍然存在，時常與世界相配合，叫我們仍然去貪愛世界，追求世事。若順著肉體的情慾和思想就會被拖到世界的泥坑和深淵裡，摧毀了有用的一生，失去神國的榮耀，得勝的秘訣只在於信心，憑信心，不憑眼見（林後5：7；來11：1；林後4：18），信心看見將來的真實，自然會拋棄虛謊的一切。

Have you ever become sleepy in a church service? It's easy, isn't it? Then something happens to make you alert again, a hymn or a song or even a good nudge!
Peter wanted to give his readers a good nudge - to awaken their memories of the things they knew and believed but which they could easily forget. We often need that same nudge. Why? It is sad to say that well-known truths often become commonplace and tend to lose their impact on our lives.
How did Peter start to warn his readers against false teachers? First he reminded them of the truth he himself had seen, heard, and told about. He himself could never forget the three years he had spent in the earthly presence of Christ. He could remember Christ's patient teaching and how often He had reminded the disciples of the things He had told them.
Then Peter reminded them of the reliability of the Scriptures. These were the foundation of their faith. They had been given by God the Holy Spirit Himself.
Peter wanted to stir any of his readers who might have become slack in their Christian lives. They knew these truths but needed to be stimulated again by them. He also planned to leave behind a record of them as a continuing reminder. Not only this letter but possibly the Gospel of Mark was part of that plan.
The last few words of our reading form one of the greatest passages in the Bible regarding its inspiration. Read them (vv. 19-21) again slowly. If the Bible is such a wonderful Book, we had better pay attention to what it says. No one can ever outgrow or neglect the Scriptures.
While the world around us is in spiritual darkness, the Bible is the only light that can show us the pathway to God. Are we sharing that light with the world?

智愚都是空，滿足在乎神
傳道書2：12-26
傳道者所言非虛，彎曲是不能變直的（參1：15），即使勞苦一生，其中所換回來的享樂生活，畢竟只是捕風（參2：1?11）！但是這種情況只會發生在愚昧人（沒有智慧的人）身上而已，一個有智慧的人，情況會不同吧？為甚麼說加增知識，就加增痛苦呢（參1：18）:傳道者把其中的原因與我們分享。
1. 智愚何異都是一樣空（12-17）:作為王的傳人，傳道者能做甚麼呢？只不過是去作前人所作的事罷了，結果是甚麼？不也是一樣嗎？！無論是有智慧如傳道者，或是那些昏庸無道的王，兩者的結局都是一樣──終必死亡（16下）。結果也是捕風！
2. 勞碌何苦滿足在乎神（18-26）：既然人最後不能帶走勞碌的成果（18），定要留給後人，而且不管這人是智是愚，這真是荒謬（虛空）！（18-19）還有，人一生用盡心思所成就的，卻要留給那些不曾付出勞力的人，這也是荒謬（虛空）！（20-21）
這樣看來，人的勞苦究竟有甚麼用？人的一生只是勞勞碌碌，這真是荒謬（虛空）！（22-23）那麼，人的一生該做甚麼才好呢？就是快樂地享用出於神手中的一切！（24）
是的，離開了神，誰還能有食物吃？還能享樂呢？（25）（註：本節參新譯本，按《七十士譯本》翻譯）
神喜悅誰，就給予誰有智慧和喜樂，而讓那些不跟從祂的人一生勞累。這真是荒謬，一切都是白幹（捕風）！（26）
傳道者在此是要提倡享樂主義嗎？非也，傳道者早在前文（參2：1?11）已否定了享樂主義，傳道者說的是：人生在世莫強如享用出於神手的一切，人生的出路在於肯定我們今天所有的一切，都是神按我們的情況把最好的賜予我們，好讓我們在其中享用。
有人位高權重，身家豐厚，卻鬱鬱寡歡；有人長居人下，收入微薄，卻能喜樂終日，這正是中國人所言知足常樂的寫照，可是人靠甚麼可以知足？靠修為？哲理？宗教？都不是，傳道者告訴我們，惟有肯定神的賜予，人才會知足。
祈禱：主啊，教我認定我手所有的，都是從你而來。

為何勞力
「不要為那必壞的食物勞力、要為那存到永生的食物勞力、就是人子要賜給你們的．因為人子是父　神所印證的。」（約6：27）
主耶穌的教訓很多，但總括起來，就是永生之道（約6：68），那就是說叫人追求，得著永生之福，而不是今生屬世的好處，祂一開始傳道就講天國近了，應當悔改（太4：17），惟獨天國的福才是真福，應要先求神的國（太5：3；6：33），要進窄門走小路也是為引到永生，門寬、路大、人多的卻引至滅亡（太7：13，14）。所以就是賺得全世界賠上生命也沒有益處（太16：26）。
人都是為食物而努力，無論是肉體的或是精神的，都是不能使人飽足的東西，凡是必壞的，要過去的，只有今生的意義而無永存價值的，都是不值得追求的。名利、地位、知識、愛情、快樂、享受以及世上的情慾，轉眼之間都要過去，得到了也等於毫無所得。如果你去問一問將離開世界的人，他們都會懊悔地說，可惜沒有追求永生，而所追求世上的一切都像一場夢，撲了一個空，什麼都過去了。
然而你若能到天上去問那些在神國裡的人，他們會告訴你，幸好我們追求得著了永生，所有為存到永生的努力都不是徒然的。所積蓄的在天上都是永不朽壞，永不消失的，只可惜曾浪費了許多光陰精力為著必壞的東西。我們現在還有一點的機會，醒悟吧，不要再錯過了！永生的食物乃是主的話。

WHAT HAS GOD DONE? WHAT SHOULD WE DO?
Bible Reading:2 Peter 1:3-11
There is no doubt we have a giving God. This is one of the greatest themes of the Bible. Paul wrote “He who did not spare His own Son ... how will He not ... graciously give us all things?” (Romans 8:32) The answer is obvious.
In verse 3, Peter makes a challenging statement, “His desire power has given us everything we need for life and goodness…” (NIV) He has given us a new life and the power to live that life. So why do we so often fail?
God has also given us “great and precious promises”. We may know them but we do not always ask God to fulfill them. Peter said one of the purposes of these promises is to enable us to overcome the temptations which the unsaved, degenerate world puts in front of us continuously.
If God has done all this, what is there left for us to do? In verses 5-7 Peter lists seven qualities we must build into our lives in order to grow in Christ.
Peter says, “You have faith, then add courage or virtue.” The word can mean goodness or excellence or even to stand for the right, regardless of cost. It is life's determination.
Knowledge is life's preparation. It will help you make right decisions. Self-control will give a disciplined mind and life. Perseverance or steadfastness means whatever comes we will seek to do God's will. It is patience in the face of trial.
Godliness is recognizing God as our Lord and carefully living in the light of His Word. It is life's attitude. Love is life's overflow.
These seven qualities are the marks of a growing Christian life. Can we look at our own lives today to see how many are present? Remember God has given all we need to daily live for Him. Thank Him and trust Him today.

凡事都是虛空，都是捕風
傳道書1：12-2：11
1. 彎曲不能變直，知識加增憂傷（1：12-18）：傳道者說，雖然他曾經在耶路撒冷作王──擁有非凡的人生；但他要告訴讀者，人生在世實在是何等無奈，何等失落。在開始講說以前，他用了雙重引論來強調生命的虛空（荒謬），以及一生勞碌有如捕風（12?15、16-18）。而在這番引論之後，他都以一句諺語來作總結：「彎曲的，不能變直；缺少的，不能足數。」（15）「因為多有智慧，就多有愁煩；加增知識的，就加增憂傷。」（18）
2. 享樂過後才知原是空（2：1-11）：引言之後，傳道者接下來要向讀者（聽眾）分享眾多不同的經驗（共六段；2：1-11，2：12-17，2：18-26，3：1-4：6，4：7-16，5：1-6：9，全以「捕風」作為段落標記，參簡介）。首先，他向讀者講及享樂在人生中的意義（1-11）。
在講述之先，傳道者提出他的結論──享樂是無意義的（1-2）。接下來他縷述有此論調的原因（3-10），作為耶路撒冷的王，他曾經大事發展──建造房屋、栽種葡萄園、挖掘水池、買了僕婢、擁有大群牛羊、積蓄金銀、招募歌手、收納妃嬪，他曾經擁有世人夢寐以求的一切，眼中所見到的，心中所想到的，他都擁有了，也從其中享受了快樂。但這些享樂能使傳道者的空虛得到滿足嗎？不可以。當他察看手所經營的一切，和勞碌成果後，他的結論竟然是：誰知都是虛空，都是捕風；在日光之下毫無益處（11）。
彎曲的不能變直，空虛的人生始終是空虛的，不論我們用怎樣的方法去充塞自己的人生，所加增的也許只是煩惱而已。
很多人都以為「擁有」本身可以帶來滿足，有人天天追求物質的豐富，有人追求權力，有人追名逐利，終其一生以此為目標，成為生命意義之所在。傳道者也曾經擁有這一切，但他卻告訴我們，這些都不能改變人生虛空的實況。彎曲始終是彎曲的，我們努力追求所得到的東西，只會徒然增添煩惱而已。
虛空的人生始終都是虛空，那麼人生在世，可以怎麼自處？
祈禱：主啊，教我明白人生在世，不再空虛失落，並非因為我享有物質和權力，只因有你與我同行。

「我們有這寶貝放在瓦器裡，要顯明這莫大的能力，是出於神，不是出於我們。」（林後四7）
保羅在本處經節中把自己比喻作瓦器，也說出了基督徒在經歷中同樣是瓦器。瓦器有兩方面的意思：就著本質而言，瓦器比起金器、銀器顯得卑賤；就著特徵而言，瓦器比起銅器、鐵器顯得脆弱，這正說出了基督徒在經歷中的情形。我們在神面前原是卑賤的，又是軟弱無能的，然而感謝神，我們有這寶貝--基督放在瓦器裡，來顯明莫大的能力（在原文是指「顯明那超越一切的能力）。
使徒保羅就是這樣多次、多方的經歷主，正如他說：「我們四面受敵，卻不被困住；心裡作難，卻不至失望；遭逼迫，卻不被丟棄；打倒了，卻不至死亡。」（林後四8、9）基督成為他的至寶，在一切環境中成為他的拯救，在他軟弱中成為他的能力。噢！這是保羅得力的祕訣。
親愛的弟兄姊妹，可能你今天同樣面對諸般的艱難，或是正處於軟弱中，請別忘了在你裡面也同樣有「這寶貝」--基督。祂昔日如何成為保羅的能力和得勝，今天也同樣要在我們裡面顯出那莫大的能力和得勝。所以，我們必須效法保羅那樣認識自己、認識主，憑信心經歷祂超越的能力和得勝。請緊記：耶穌說：「你若能信，在信的人，凡事都能。」（可九23）

不效世界
「不要效法這個世界．只要心意更新而變化、叫你們察驗何為　神的善良、純全可喜悅的旨意。」（羅12：2）
世界本是神所造的，交給人管理，卻因亞當犯罪而落到撒但手中，他成了世界的神（林後4：4），世界的王（約12：31）。因此世界上的事，就像各種的情慾和驕傲都不是從神來的，乃是臥在那惡者的手下（約壹2：16；5：19）。這樣，效法世人，貪愛世界都是神所不許可的（雅4：4；約壹2：15）。
可是在我們的心思意念中，常裝滿了世界所來的東西，許多的想法，喜好，都受世界的影響。在不知不覺之中，接受了許許多多，不但不加以分辯，反以為不錯。因為我們屬肉體和敗壞的天性，所有的思念和情感，正與之相合相同（羅8：6，7；弗2：2，3）。這樣，天天混雜在一起，使我們的心思意念都更混亂，污穢了。為此，信徒必須潔淨自己的心，除掉不對的意念（雅4：8；賽55：7），將心意更新而變化，這要靠聖靈藉著神的話才能作到（多3：5；彼前1：22；弗5：26），時常隨從聖靈的光照，用神的話，就是真理來改正、變化，代替自己原有的心思、意念，並且察驗明白，什麼是神最美善的旨意。我們若肯時時順服聖靈的感動，用神的話來對照，除去自己的和從世界來的意念，有正確的存心，遵行神的旨意，就必定能心意更新和變化，更像基督討神喜悅（詩139：24；19：14）。

SIMON PETER'S FINAL WORDS
Bible Reading: 2 Peter 1:1-7
Have you ever written two letters to the same person, and each letter dealt with an entirely different subject? There might be a major difference in your style of writing, wasn't there? If you have ever done that, you will appreciate the difference between the two letters of I and II Peter.
In the first letter, Peter wanted to strengthen those Christians undergoing persecution. In the second letter Peter bluntly warned the churches against false teachers.
The theme of I Peter is hope. The theme of II Peter is true knowledge and discernment. There is comfort but also judgment in these letters. Peter is here a pastor and teacher, as well as a prophet. II Peter and the Epistle of Jude are very similar in their straight forward language and challenge.
In the first few verses of our reading, there are tremendous truths or principles. How does Peter describe himself before he mentions his apostleship? “A servant of Jesus Christ”, literally a bond-slave. Paul frequently used the same word.
In the remainder of verse 1, Peter included us all when he wrote to those who have the same kind of faith as the apostles. If we have the same faith, then we have the same position – being bond-slaves of Christ.
If we are His bond-slaves, then Christ has the right to expect our complete obedience and service. Our time is not how we like to spend as our own. We serve under our Lord and Master, Jesus Christ.
But God is a God of grace (v.3). He knows our weaknesses and our needs and is willing to supply daily grace for every situation. The grace is given to us simply because we know Jesus Christ.
A VERSE FOR TODAY: “Your strength will equal your days.” (Deuteronomy 33:25)

傳道書1：1-11
你的生命正處於怎樣的光景呢？快樂、憂愁、痛苦、失望、充滿希望還是深感無奈？傳道書誠意邀請每一個認真面對自己的人，一同來聆聽生命的實況。
1. 虛空的虛空（1-2）：本書的總結（參12：9-14）告訴我們，整本傳道書是邀請讀者（會眾）一同細想人生的篇章。它邀請讀者聆聽一位描述為曾在耶路撒冷作王、且是大衛後人的傳道者之話語作開始，題目是：「虛空的虛空，凡事都是虛空。」（1：2，12：8）這是一個非常駭人的題目，對於當時相信耶和華神的希伯來人來說，是不可能的，人生怎會是虛空的呢？然而也許這正是當時讀者們所深深經歷的一種實況。
2. 日光之下只虛空（3-11）：傳道者用一首詩來引出他要講述的話題。人一生在地上的生活、勞苦，所為何來？就如人的一代過去，一代又來；日頭出來，然後下去；北風吹過，南風又起；江河從何處流，仍回到何處；原來人生所謀所求的事，與這些自然現象一樣，循環往返，日光之下無新事]11）。那麼人生在世有甚麼意義？我們每天勞碌生活有甚麼益處呢（3-4）？
著名的存在主義文學家Albert Camus（卡繆）說過一個故事：天神要懲罰一個人，要他把大石頭從山下推到山上，這個人用盡所有力氣，把石頭推到山頂上時，滿以為終於完成了，誰知大石卻從這邊掉到那邊，於是他第二天又要在山的另一邊從山下把大石推上去，結果這個人一生就只是天天在推大石，永無休止。卡繆以這個故事來說明人生的無意義，每個人都像受了天神的咒詛一樣，永無休止又毫無意義地重複那些無謂荒謬的事情。人生真的是這樣嗎？
在忙碌中，我們可以怎樣計劃人生呢？若按傳道者這首詩所言，計劃人生又有何用？人生真的這麼虛空嗎？我是信主的人，總不會如此吧？
甚麼時候，我們也曾感到無奈、無力，甚至懷疑神是否仍然掌權，仍然與我們同在，就算信主多年的我，也免不了有這種感受，那怎麼辦？
「主啊，請說，僕人敬聽！」（撒上3：10）
祈禱：主啊，求引領我心，仔細聆聽你的話語。

RE:Who guide your life?

GUIDANCE -OUR CONTINUING NEED
Bible Reading:Psalm 32
Have you ever found it difficult to make a major decision? Have you also found difficulty in knowing God's will? We all have had those experiences haven't we?
But there are several points we need to recognise:
1. God has clearly promised to be a guide for his children.
2. As Christians, we not only have a Guide (the Holy Spirit) but we also have a Guide Book (the Bible).
3. God will never guide us contrary to his Word.
4. God's guidance will never bring inner conflict after the decision is made. Never act if you do not have peace concerning the decision made.
Please note however - while peace follows God's guidance you can also have peace while waiting for God to reveal his will in his own time and way.
God's timing is also involved in our lives. This is something we don't always realise. He often reveals his will to us but the door for action remains closed. Then in God's time the door does open and his will is fulfilled. When his will and his time coincide, God can act very quickly.
However it is guidance in every day circumstances we seem to need the most. Here is where 'sanctified common sense' comes in. John Wesley said: 'God generally guides me by presenting reasons to my mind for acting in a certain way'.
Remember also that what may be God's will for someone else may not be God's will for you. A green light for your friend may be a red light for you. While naturally you will pray for your friends, it is God's will for your own life you are seeking. This is most important.
As you commit your life to the Lord each morning, ask him to guide you through that day. Then quietly trust him to do it. At the close of the day as you look back over it, thank him for leading you, consciously and unconsciously in all you have done during the day.

愛惜約拿，也愛惜世人的神
約拿書4：4-10
究竟誰在施行審判？是我們？還是那安排海上起大風，安排大魚把約拿吞吐，安排蓖麻一夜生發、一夜乾死的那一位？
1. 神兩問約拿（4?9）：當神決定不按尼尼微人的惡懲罰他們時，約拿心深不忿以致於想到一死了之的時候，神兩次向他說：「你這樣發怒合乎理嗎？」
2. 神再問約拿（9）：約拿含恨走到城的東面，在那裡搭建了一座棚；他坐在棚中，要看看這城中的人末了究竟會如何。神卻先安排了一棵蓖麻生長，好為他遮蔭，然後神又安排一條蟲將之咬枯，最後更安排炎熱的東風吹來，使約拿苦不堪言，於是他再度埋怨神，疆A次為自己求死。就在此際，耶和華神再次詰問約拿。
約拿真的是理直氣壯嗎？他發怒是因為神安排蟲把蓖麻咬枯？是因為神安排炎熱的東風去煎熬他？是因為神對他不夠恩慈？他之前豈不是險些命喪大海嗎？神真的對他不夠恩慈？
3. 神三問約拿（10?11）：神要向約拿指出，他的怒氣和心底那份怨恨，並不是因為蓖麻的死去，問題的癥結是因為神沒有按尼尼微人原來的惡，將他們滅絕。那一夜發生卻又在一夜乾死的蓖麻，約拿尚且愛惜它，那麼一個人的生命，噢！不！是超過十二萬人的生命及其中的牲畜，難道不比一棵蓖麻重要？為此神說：「我豈能不愛惜呢？」
主耶穌在講述浪子比喻的故事中（參路15：31?32），結束時那個大兒子怒氣沖沖地責問父親，為甚麼要這樣善待那不肖的弟弟，父親的回應是：「只是你這個兄弟是死而復活、失而又得的，所以我們理當歡喜快樂。」對於父親這句話，大兒子究竟有何回應？主耶穌沒有再說下去，好讓讀者去作判斷。我們知道那位慈父願意接納每一個肯回轉的兒子，問題的焦點已不在小兒子身上，乃在大兒子身上了。
「我豈能不愛惜呢？」約拿的故事也在一個沒有回應的反問下結束，究竟約拿怎樣回應呢？對於當日尋求神心意的以色列民來說，他們是應該知道的。我們是否都知道主的心意？我們又會怎樣回應呢？
祈禱：主啊，教我真正明白，惟有你才是最高的主宰；教我切實體會你的心腸及你的愛。

RE:The Fighter!

GIDEON - THE MAN WHO MEANT WELL BUT FAILED
Bible Reading: Judges 8:22-28
It is sad, it is tragic when we hear of the spiritual failure of a leader God has used mightily. We cannot condemn them. Paul reminds us:
'Watch yourself or you also may be tempted' Galatians 6:1.
The Bible is very honest. It does not conceal the failure of its heroes. But thank God for forgiveness. Let me remind you that the New Testament mentions Gideon among the heroes of faith in Hebrews 11. It does not record his failure. That was past and forgiven. When God forgives, he forgets.
But the story is there in Judges chapter 8. It begins with the Israelies being so grateful to Gideon for delivering them from bondage to Midian, they wanted to make him their king. Gidoen replied well. He reminded them that they already had a king- God himself, if they would only recognise him.
'But', said Gideon, 'if you want to show your appreciation, give me some of the gold earrings you took in the war'. The men did this gladly. The total was possibly 20 kg weight.
Gideon melted the gold and made an ephod. What was that? Originally an ephod was an upper garment worn by a priest. It was particularly used when seeking the Lord's guidance. Here it would seem to be a wall hanging, or even a free standing object of worship. No doubt it was beautiful and many people would come to see it. But sad to say it led the Israelis back into idolatry. Even Gideon and his own family fell into the same trap.
Gideon never realised what this beautiful golden object might mean. He may have thought it would help provide Divine guidance in some way. Satan used it to lead Israel astray.
It would seem Gideon led Israel for forty years. Even the best of leaders can fail. Remember Paul's words: 'If you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don't fall'. 1 Corinthians 10:12. Listen to Jude also: 'He is able to keep you from falling.' Jude 24. Praise God for Jesus Christ and for his keeping power. Ask him to keep you in any time of temptation today.

再差約拿、有恩典憐憫的神
約拿書3：1-4：3
當日驅使我離開神的惡事，今天那「惡事」仍然存在時，該怎麼辦？
1. 神沒有改變祂的呼召（3：1?4）：當約拿回轉後，先前的吩咐再次臨到他：「你起來！往尼尼微大城去，向其中的居民呼喊……」（2，參1：2）經歷了人生的風浪後，約拿終於肯往尼尼微去，並在其中宣告（呼喊）：「再等四十日，尼尼微必傾覆了！」惡人的惡已經惡貫滿盈，最終必得到應得的報應。然而，這真是神的心意嗎？
2. 神接受人的真心悔改（3：5?9）：尼尼微人聽了約拿宣告的信息後，竟然向神悔改，還要全國上下一起禁食。若單靠我們的能力、經驗或影響力，這是絕對不可能出現的結果。然而，神會因他們的悔改而不按著他們的惡懲罰他們嗎？
3. 神啊，我早知會這樣！（3：10?4：3）：神果然不把所說的災禍降在尼尼微城，約拿對於這個結果滿不是味兒。為此，他道出了當日蒙神呼召後，卻急速逃往他施去的原因，原來他早已料到，若尼尼微人肯悔改，神必會按他們的惡懲罰他們。約拿早已不同意這樣的事情發生，因此一走了之！
當日驅使我們離開神的原因，不就是這樣嗎？我早就知道……
你會為著惡人惡事之改變而歡呼嗎？還是始終認為有些人有些事，其惡是不可原諒的呢？是的，在人看來，這些人或事都是不可寬恕的，但我們的神是「有恩典、有憐憫的神，不輕易發怒，有豐盛的慈愛，並且後悔不降所說的災」，我們會否因著神的恩慈而感到神不公平呢？當日使我們離開神、離開教會的人和事仍在那裡，我們能否接受神已把那些人和事改變呢？甚麼時候，我們的判斷竟比神的心意更高和更重要?
千萬不要忘記，當日若不是因著神這份恩典憐憫，今天我們也許仍在罪中，甚至已葬身大海！那麼，施行審判的，究竟是神還是我們呢？
祈禱：主啊，你是我的主，我的心願意歸你，求你領我快跑跟隨你。

我們既多受基督的苦楚，就靠基督多得安慰。」（林後一5）
自從始祖亞當犯罪後，就失去樂園的享受，從此人類都在罪的咒詛之下，承受犯罪的苦果--苦難、疾病、死亡，以及永遠的沉淪。苦難乃是人生中最不受歡迎的東西，卻常常臨到世人。然而，人生雖有各種苦難令人痛苦、頹喪、絕望，但對基督徒來說，有一種苦難是滿有價值和意義的，那就是本節所提的「基督的苦楚」。
何謂「基督的苦楚」呢？那就是為主的緣故所受的大小苦楚，就如為著見證、傳揚主名所受的逼迫、攻擊、孤立；為信主而遭遇的逼害；為持守主道、過榮耀主名的生活所受的損失、為難；在跟從主的路上所面對的各種苦難。這一切的苦楚，無非叫我們大大得益。那麼得何益處呢？
一．叫我們多得基督的安慰。未經苦難之前，我們不能切實感受何為基督的安慰；經歷苦難後，叫我們禱告主更多，這樣自然更多經歷、認識主，更多領受主的安慰。
二．叫我們能成為別人的祝福，去同情、安慰、真實幫助那些與我們同遭苦楚的肢體，結出更多愛心的果子，有如保羅昔日所經歷的（參林後一4）。
三．我們現今既有分於基督的苦楚，那日就必有分於祂的榮耀。哦！這是極大的祝福，所以，為著你今天跟從主路上所面對的苦楚來讚美神吧！因為：十架換冠冕。

JOSEPH - RECONCILED AT LAST
Bible Reading: Genesis 42:1-13
It must have been eighteen months or more into the world-wide famine before Jacob and his family began to recognise their desperate situation. Their first move was for the ten older brothers to band together and travel the 300 kms into Egypt. How long would it take them? They made that journey at least three times.
The inter-play between Joseph the Prime Minister and his ten older brothers is fascinating. It occupies several chapters. But the main point is his goodness to them. On their second visit he even accommodated them in his own home.
It must have been over 22 years since Joseph had seen his younger brother Benjamin. And can you imagine the real astonishment and consternation when Joseph finally said to them all: 'I am your brother Joseph'.
Skipping over the details of the story to the last chapter of Genesis, two incidents are worth noting. After the death of their father Jacob, the ten brothers were fearful that Joseph would take revenge on them. Turn to chapter 50:19-21. Read again Joseph's great words on the over-ruling sovereignty of God. 'You intended to harm me but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.'
Then before Joseph died he reminded his family of God's promise to Abraham that one day the whole nation would return to Canaan. Joseph made the Israelites promise that when God delivered them from Egypt, his remains would be carried to Canaan and buried there. At the time of the Exodus Moses did this and Joshua finally buried them in that land.
Joseph stands out as a man tested over and over again. But his forgiving spirit and faith in God are a wonderful lesson for us today. Can we remember those lessons?
REMEMBER: THE WILL OF GOD WILL NEVER LEAD YOU WHERE THE GRACE OF GOD CANNOT KEEP YOU.

仍有服事耶穌的人
馬太福音27：57-66
誰能想到，自己所跟隨的主竟會落得如此悲慘收場的！難道整個信仰是一場大大的誤會？
天色轉黑，一日將盡，除酵節的第一日快要開始了，猶太人未能容忍耶穌的屍體就此留在十字架上，他們要求彼拉多把屍體移走（參約19：31）。主耶穌的遺體如果落在羅馬人手上，祂將會受到怎樣的對待？那些愛耶穌的人不擔心嗎？祂的門徒在哪裡？那班曾在近處、也在遠處、親眼看著耶穌被釘十字架的婦女們又打算做些甚麼（55，另參約19：25?26）？然而風險實在很大，敵人的氣焰正熾，致使那班跟隨耶穌的人，心靈充滿了陰霾和掙扎。他們就算想，但也未敢在這刻真的為主做些甚麼。
在這個一切都似乎任由敵人擺佈的時候，竟來了一位有財勢的人，雖然沒有人知道他是耶穌的門徒，但他的確是耶穌的門徒！約瑟一向不敢公開自己的信心（參約19：38），但在這刻，他毅然地站出來（參可15：43），做了一件可能會招致死亡的事！他向彼拉多領取了耶穌的遺體，用乾淨的細麻布包好，安葬在自己的新墳墓裡。主耶穌最後一個肉身的需要，最終得到了被服事的機會。神的旨意實在偉大和奇妙，不因人的軟弱而被攔阻，都成就了（參賽53：9）！在那個非常的晚上，那位被視為「信心軟弱」的人，得到了服事主的機會。
猶太人謀害耶穌「雖算成功」，卻未心息。為使惡計完滿，他們說服了彼拉多派兵嚴守耶穌的墳墓。但在神的大能旨意裡，主耶穌要在三日後復活，這又豈是人可以攔阻的？
強的不會永遠強，弱的也未必長久地弱；一向與主關係良好的眾門徒，無論多強也會有軟弱的一刻；與主關係不好的人無論多弱，也可以有醒覺、轉強的時候。約瑟的表現提醒我們，不好過高期望了那些有好見證、肯事奉的弟兄姊妹，也不好看輕了那些信心軟弱的人。他們都同樣地需要別人的代禱和關懷，當然，軟弱的人需要的關懷肯定會更多。輕看一個人，只會使人的關係更疏離；關懷卻能把人拉近，有助人從軟弱處回轉過來，能夠早日服事主。
祈禱：縱然環境盡不順利，主耶穌，我願意仍然忠心的服事你。

RE:The Gift...

弟兄們，論到屬靈的恩賜，我不願意你們不明白。」（林前十二1）
保羅在本章專門論到屬靈的恩賜，他要我們明白這件事。現在我們先來思想何為「屬靈的恩賜」：恩賜在原文裡乃是「禮物」，也就是神恩典的賜予。有人以為他生來口齒伶俐、能言善辯，就必有講道的恩賜；有人以為他處事精明，就自然有治理事務的恩賜……這完全錯了！經上說：「各樣美善的恩賜，和各樣全備的賞賜，都是從上頭來的，從眾光之父那裡降下來的；在祂並沒有改變，也沒有轉動的影兒。」（雅一17）
我們應該認識：基督升天擄掠了仇敵，把各樣的恩賜賞給人（參弗四7），且藉著聖靈分賜給各人（參林前十二11），為要成全聖徒，各盡其職，建立基督的身體。恩賜既不是我們原有的，也不是領受它作為自己的誇耀和享受，而是為著建造基督的身體--教會。正如保羅在本章論到屬靈的恩賜，就以身體作比喻：身體上的每一個肢體都有它獨特的功用，而屬靈的恩賜就好比各肢體的功用，為要彼此配搭、各盡其職，在愛中建立自己。
那麼，我們怎樣能領受主所要賜給我們的恩賜呢？我們一方面需要切慕、祈求、追求真理，另一方面要殷勤、忠心的在教會中擺上自己的一份，且存心謙卑，因「神阻擋驕傲的人，賜恩給謙卑的人。」（雅四6；彼前五5）但願我們都能在神的家中忠心於主所交託我們的，免得那日空手見主。

RE:Buy from Who?

當向主買
「我勸你向我買火煉的金子，叫你富足，又買白衣穿上，叫你赤身的羞恥不露出來，又買眼藥擦你的眼睛，使你能看見。」（啟3：18）
在啟示錄二、三章裡，有主給教會最後的信息，是審判前的警告，因審判要從神的家起首（彼前4：17）。祂不叫我們忽然面臨審判而毫無準備，乃是給我們先看見審判的內容和結局，以及如何預備，還有一點點時間和機會，千萬不能錯過。
老底嘉教會是代表末後教會的情況，這裡的信息更值得我們警惕。老底嘉的屬靈情況，是不冷不熱，如同溫水，要被主從口中吐出去，這何曾不是今天許多教會和信徒的光景呢？許多人仍然禱告和讀經，不去犯大罪，卻沒有積極追求的心，竭力討神的喜悅，火熱地事奉主（羅12：11），如溫水一樣，使人沒有冷、熱的感覺。站在中間，心懷兩意，還自覺不錯，可能自以為有許多真理的知識，屬靈的經歷，卻不知是那困苦可憐、貧窮、瞎眼、赤身的。將來不能站立在神和眾天使以及千萬聖徒的面前。
所以主勸他要向主買經上所說的幾項，為甚麼說買，不說求呢？這表明是要付代價的，必須徹底悔改，恆切禱告。除去主所不喜悅的一切東西，才滿足神的要求。

JOSEPH - PRIME MINISTER OF ALL EGYPT
Bible Reading: Genesis 41:1-14
It was his dreams which brought trouble to Joseph in the first place. Now God uses a king's dream to get Joseph out of prison!
Can you see God's perfect timing in this story? What if the cupbearer had remembered Joseph when he was re-instated two years previously? What might have happened to Joseph? He might have been released but it would have been back to slavery in Potiphar's or someone else's house. He never would have become Prime Minister.
God's timing is so perfect. He over-ruled the cupbearer's forgetfulness. Joseph went straight from prison to the Prime Minister's position. This incredible opportunity was worth waiting for. Hindsight always makes us see what God has been planning while we have been waiting.
Joseph's appearance before Pharaoh shows a young man of 30 giving all the praise and recognition to his God. With remarkable poise, he conducted himself so well that Pharaoh recognised his abilities and wisdom (see verses 39-41) and appointed him to be the second in command over all Egypt.
Pharaoh also gave Joseph a wife (vA5). Was this the first time in his life that Joseph had a true intimate friend? She may have been brought up as a heathen, but don't you think that living with Joseph would soon change her life?
Two sons came into their home. The names Joseph gave them are very significant. Manasseh means 'God has made me forget' and Ephraim means 'God has made me fruitful'. Joseph may never have forgotten his experiences, but God helped him to forget the pain.
What are the lessons we can learn from Joseph? Simply, God has a plan for each life. We can trust him even when we cannot understand. God will work out his plan in spite of every obstacle which may be placed in our way.
REMEMBER: GOD'S WAY IS WISEST. GOD'S TIMING IS BEST.

愛到底
馬太福音27：45-56
主耶穌被高懸在十字架上，人們嘲弄的噪音沒有停止過。突然間，太陽失去了光輝，大地都黑暗了！從午正到申初，整整三個小時的黑暗，在目睹的人心中幾乎無盡驚惶和迷茫，如鋼索一樣緊緊的扣著他們的心，到底發生了甚麼事？忽然間，主耶穌發出一聲震撼人心的呼喊聲，這叫聲，劃破了漆黑的靜寂……。
主耶穌與天父之間的愛，深得不能測度，也完全得無法分割；祂一生的存在意義和滿足，都有賴這份愛。但此時此刻，因著自己背負世人的一切罪惡，這份愛出現了裂痕，祂怎能忍受！痛和羞辱可承受，甚至生命也可放下，但要失掉這份愛，祂忍受不了，再不能沉默下去了！祂聲嘶力竭地發出了一個驚天地、泣鬼神的呼喊：「我的神，我的神，你為甚麼離棄我？」（45）祂並非不明白，只是那個分離的痛實在難受。
耶穌愛天父，便毫無保留地獻上自己來成就天父的一切旨意；祂愛我們，為到我們的好處，就連那人不可理解、極深層的痛祂也承受了。祂的死揭開了至聖所的幔子，挪走了人與神之間的隔閡，從今以後，人們便可藉著祂直接去到神那裡；不少已離世的聖徒，從死裡復活過來，成為了我們將來復活的先兆；大自然的震動，驚醒了周圍人們那已經死亡的心靈，隱約覺得「這次可是作了大錯？」
使徒保羅深深體會，耶穌這份犧牲的愛是多麼的強而有力，他很坦然、也很激昂地宣告說：天地之間再沒有誰，也沒有甚麼的力量，能使我們與基督這份無比的愛隔絕了（參羅8：35?39）。保羅欣賞、珍惜與主的關係，為此，他甘心奉上一生，愛主到底。我們一生的意義和滿足，也是完全繫於我們與主的關係，然而我們珍惜嗎？若要珍惜這關係，我們就必要抗拒罪惡和一切有損這關係的事。
保羅做到了，我做得到嗎？

「所以無論何人，不按理吃主的餅，喝主的杯，就是乾犯主的身主的血了。」（林前十一27）
擘餅聚會乃是主在受難前親自設立的，祂吩咐我們要如此行，為的是記念祂。使徒時代初期教會實行天天擘餅，因為信的人常在一處，可以天天聚集；後來外邦各處的教會，都在七日的頭一日聚集擘餅記念主（參徒二十7；林前十六2）。
擘餅記念主，乃是要所有蒙主救贖的兒女都常思念主的大愛，記念主捨命的厚恩，且心被恩感歌頌神，以詩歌、頌詞一同口唱心和的讚美主，回報主的宏恩厚愛，一同來愛主。
擘餅記念主也說出了我們不是單獨的基督徒，而是有分於同領基督的身體，且同有活潑的盼望，就是等候主的回來。所以，基督徒過討主喜悅、等候主回來的生活，所不可缺少的就是參加擘餅記念主的聚會。同時，也應留意按理吃主的餅和喝主的杯，免得惹來主的審判。
何為「按理吃主的餅，喝主的杯」呢？就是存敬畏的心，先分辨餅和杯是代表主的身、主的血，然後分辨自己，也就是省察在已過的一週，有否犯虧欠肢體、絆倒別人的罪，或是得罪神的罪。若有的話，內心立刻禱告認罪，然後存感恩的心領受這餅和杯，免得我們乾犯了主的身、主的血，自己取罪。但願我們都存敬畏而感恩的心來記念主，讓主心滿意足。

聖靈印記
「不要叫神的聖靈擔憂，你們原是受了祂的印記，等候得贖的日子來到。」（弗4：30）
有的信徒不管神喜悅與否，只按著自己的意思行，好像是不屬神的人一樣，這不但不能蒙神祝福，還要受到懲罰，想在神以外尋求的快樂好處不但得不到，連在主裡的一切福分也將失去。因為信徒是屬神的，是主血所買來的，有聖靈的印記，不能不歸給神，討神的喜悅。不聽神的話而想得神的祝福是不可能的，必須盡自己的本分，神也必成就祂的應許。
究竟怎樣才能算作的對，行的正，合乎神的旨意呢？是根據聖經的真理，即神的話語，指示。不過人有時不但愚昧頑梗，甚至詭詐；明曉得神的話，知道那樣作是違反神的心意的，卻曲解，故意不明白神的話，或者認為可以通融，仍照自己的意思行。
因此，神更將聖靈放在人心裡作代表，人所行所為所言所想，合不合乎神的意思，有聖靈來判斷。人自己以為對錯，可否，是否違背神的話都不能作為依據，如果聖靈在裡面不同意、有責備、擔憂，那就不對了，表明是不合神的旨意，神不喜悅，所以心中沒有平安。這關係將來的身體得贖，以及承受神的國。

JOSEPH AND HIS PRISON YEARS
Bible Reading: Genesis 39:19
Is this true? Somewhere, sometime, someone has been unfair to each of us. Right? We can remember the terrible temptation to bitterness which came to us at that time. Only the marvellous grace of God brought us through that painful, traumatic experience.
In Joseph's case, his imprisonment was absolutely unfair. He had done the right thing but the physical result was chains and imprisonment. The sentence seems to have been open ended. He may have been in prison up to ten years until God finally and wonderfully released him.
In prison Joseph again proved himself as a reliable, trustworthy worker and gained promotion once more. The reason? That phrase 'The Lord was with him', appears twice as the familiar explanation.
DREAMING AGAIN
Then two more prisoners for Joseph to look after! These were important officials from Pharaoh's household. Was it Potiphar who assigned them to Joseph's care? (v4).
One morning Joseph noticed the sad disturbed expressions on their faces. What was their problem? They had compared notes and each had had a dream which they couldn't understand. They thought no one could possibly help them, especially in prison.
As Joseph listened, he was led to say his God could give them the meaning of their dreams. He still had his remarkable confidence in the God he had known since childhood.
The rest of the story is well known. The dreams were each fulfilled exactly as Joseph said. Joseph had one final word for the cupbearer: 'When you are back in favour with Pharaoh, please mention my case to him.' Was this the only time Joseph ever spoke up for himself?
Does the final verse of the chapter tell us of Joseph's darkest hour? (v.23). The cupbearer forgot Joseph and his request. Did he do it accidentally or deliberately? What do you think? What is your answer?

RE:Protect Yourself?

耶穌並不自保
馬太福音27：33-44
主受創太甚，已無力背負十架往各各他，更何況這是一條向上走、極難行的斜路（32）。
主被釘進十字架，並隨即被豎起來，祂甚至沒有接受那用苦膽調校出來的麻醉酒來減輕痛苦，赤著身體的祂被高高懸掛在藍天下。內在的，有來自肉身的是被撕裂的痛，外在的，有鑽進耳朵、來自四方八面的辱罵和嘲笑（39?44）！「救自己吧」、「下來吧」、「如果神喜悅祂，就讓神現在救祂吧」……各樣褻瀆神、嘲弄主、扭曲真理（請比較40及約2：19）、極盡挑釁的喊聲，持續不斷地刺進主的心，一切令人髮指的惡行，為的只不過是要打倒一個良善、完美、無瑕的祂，也為要驅使祂離棄天父的旨意，就像數年前魔鬼在曠野的試探。
耶穌只要稍為沉不住氣、稍有自保的念頭，滿有大能的祂當可大顯神威，走下十架，消滅一切向祂行惡的人！但祂沒有。祂對天父的愛、對世人的愛，遠遠超越過祂對自己的愛！這愛給祂無限的動力，使祂親身嘗盡世人的邪惡所招來的一切苦！
昔日，祂勝過魔鬼；今日，祂同樣勝過魔鬼！這就是我們的主！
感謝主耶穌，祂是我們這些傾向自保、習慣自保、也必會自保的人的完美榜樣！讓我們回想一下，自己過往因為自保而作出過多少次人際關係上的錯誤？結果怎樣？是負面的多、正面的多、還是徹頭徹尾地失敗？自保的反彈，往往都是出於一時的意氣，通常不合乎天父的旨意！
但我們當作些甚麼，以幫助自己減少這些失誤？

RE:The Temptation...

你們所遇見的試探，無非是人所能受的；神是信實的，必不叫你們受試探過於所能受的；在受試探的時候，總要給你們開一條出路，叫你們能忍受得住。」（林前十13）
《聖經》讓我們看見，試探是從撒但來的，就如福音書裡記載，當耶穌禁食四十晝夜之後餓了，撒但便進前來試探他。昔日，以色列人在曠野漂流四十年，也曾因路途艱難、多次試探神而倒斃在曠野。義人約伯也曾遭遇撒但的試探和攻擊，飽經苦難，至終蒙神保守。
弟兄姊妹們，今天在我們跟從主的路上，有時也同樣會面對試探，因那試探人的撒但並沒有打盹，牠常利用苦難、艱難，或是世界的榮華、罪惡的迷惑來試探我們，要我們遠離神。
哦！或許你現在正處於病痛、生活困苦、極大的工作壓力中，似乎絕望了。然而，請聽主的話：「神是信實的，必不叫你們受試探過於所能受的；在受試探的時候，總要給你們開一條出路，叫你們能忍受得住。」
是的，無論你現今所面對的是何等艱難，信實的神必賜夠用的恩典托住你，也必不叫你受試探過於所能受的，更會給你開一條出路，叫你能忍受得住。所以，我們不要學以色列人昔日在曠野那不信從的樣式，反要憑信心和忍耐經歷主的得勝。請緊記：「忍受試探的人是有福的，因為他經過試驗以後，必得生命的冠冕。」（雅一12）

RE:Do or Not Do?

JOSEPH - TESTED AND TEMPTED Bible Reading: Genesis 39
Joseph was about 17 or 1S when he found himself a slave in the home of Potiphar, Pharaoh's chief executioner. He had had no previous work experience except perhaps caring for sheep. Now it was 'on the job training'. But soon he had rapid promotion to a position of oversight and trust.
Why was this? Look at verses 2 and 4 -'The Lord was with him'. Potiphar quickly saw that Joseph's abilities and character were from a 'Divine source'. He also saw himself prospering because of Joseph's presence in his establishment.
The presence of a Christian in his place of employment is very strategic. As far as his gifts enable him, he ought to be the best worker and certainly the most reliable. The way in which a Christian does his work should earn for him the right to speak for Christ.
THE TEMPTATION
Mrs. Potiphar, the boss's wife had also been watching Joseph, but for very different reasons. Her eyes were filled with lust. All she saw was a fine good-looking young man whom she wanted to seduce.
Did the temptation come only once? No, v.10 says it came day after day. Being tempted once and standing firm is very different to temptation repeated day after day.
How did Joseph handle it? He was a single young man, may be just 20. He was alone in a foreign land. Everything seemed to say:
'Do it - no one will know.'
But Joseph gave three valid reasons for refusing to yield. First, his master trusted him (v.8). Secondly, 'You may be bored, you may be attractive, but you are a married woman' (v.9). Most importantly, Joseph said: 'I cannot do it. It would be a sin against my God'.
His final answer is in v.12. He ran. Sometimes the best action in the face of temptation is to do what Joseph did, leave the scene immediately.
REMEMBER PAUL'S WORDS: 'Flee, shun anything to do with lust' (2 Timothy 2:22).

RE:The Silence....

耶穌默默承受痛苦馬太福音27：27?32
主耶穌受過了羅馬兵丁們無情的鞭撻後（26），從肩膊至腰間的身體部分，均已被鞭子抽打得皮開肉綻，沒有一寸地方完整！然而痛苦的迫害並沒有因而停止，衙門士兵竟繼續施暴，他們以荊棘為冕、朱紅色袍為王服、蘆葦為權杖，極盡挖苦的譏諷、戲弄耶穌。他們的行動，就像發了狂的野獸般冷血、殘忍。
單是皮肉的痛楚，已叫人非常難受，更難堪的，是響在耳邊的人們的嘲諷和邪惡的說話，以及落到身上和面上的兵士們的唾液。眼前各式各樣的侮辱，把耶穌的尊嚴完全踐踏，使祂的心靈受盡傷害！主耶穌怎能繼續默然承受下去？但見肉體和心靈已極痛的祂，並沒有因而失控，縱使周圍的人都已經失控；祂也沒有反抗，就是連半句難聽的話也沒有說出口，縱使周圍的人都已在胡言亂語。當外在的一切都在挑釁著祂的心、要誘惑祂「行差踏錯」的時候，祂堅持了生命的尊嚴和高貴，祂守住了一生的使命，沒有半點偏離天父的旨意，因為祂知道，世上再沒有甚麼比較天父的旨意更寶貴。
主耶穌的堅持，為「信心」做了一個美麗的見證，這個見證，對我們這些常常「心靈願意、肉體軟弱」的信徒來說，更是一個很大的提醒和鼓勵。我們在平安穩妥時說順服神是較容易的，但在危險、極度困苦裡講順服、忠貞，實在非常需要一份優質的信心，來承托那些複雜的情緒和感受。世上的一切、包括我們的生命，都可以失去，惟獨千萬不可失去祂，因為失去祂，就等於失去一切！
我的信心算是優質、還是劣質？

施更有福
「我凡事給你們作榜樣，叫你們知道應當這樣勞苦，扶助軟弱的人，又當記念主耶穌的話，說：‘施比受更為有福。’」（徒20：35）
主的意念總比人的高，主的話永遠是真理，人都以為受是有福的，都願多受而少施，甚至願意只受而不施。這是愚昧、自私、卑鄙、可憐的人，也是有貪心的人，在神面前不蒙悅納，在人面前也不受尊重，自私的人永遠沒有快樂，有貪心的人永遠沒有滿足。
但樂意施捨的人是有福的，是認識神的人，是嘗過主恩的人，心是寬大的，眼光是遠的。我們從神那裡常常是受的，能夠對人有所施是應該的，有了流通，才能蒙新的恩典，才能從神那裡有新的領受，不施出去，源頭就停住了。
施的人是最快樂的人，他不但有分於受的人之快樂，並且多一分施的滿足，不但從人方面得到感激，而從神方面也得到喜悅，所以說施比受更為有福，不但有今生的福，更有來生的福，將來在天上還有更大的賞賜，當然不是為著賞賜，乃是憑著愛心，這愛心本身就是神與我們同在，是何等高尚榮耀的美德!

「凡我所行的，都是為福音的緣故，為要與人同得這福音的好處。」（林前九23）
耶穌基督曾撇下父家的榮耀，降世為人，取了卑微的拿撒勒人的形象，且為世人的罪被釘在十字架上，成全了神的救恩，也成了世人的福音。主盼望屬祂的人都能體貼祂的心腸，同心合意的興旺福音，為所信的福音齊心努力。
使徒保羅是體貼主心意的人，他曾為著傳福音到外邦各國，受盡了各種患難、逼迫、艱難、困苦。他一切所行的，都是為福音的緣故，連他所遭遇的捆鎖也是叫福音興旺（參腓一12）。正如他多次為福音的緣故被囚受審時，都沒有為自己辯護，而是只顧見證主名，傳主福音。
歷世歷代以來有無數神忠心的僕人，為著主的福音付上代價；他們為著把主的福音傳遍世界每一角落而擺上一生。弟兄姊妹們，今天我們有否為主福音的緣故而付上代價呢？
經上說：「凡我所行的，都是為福音的緣故，為要與人同得這福音的好處。」這不單是保羅生活的原則，也應成為我們的原則。凡我們所行的，包括我們與人相處、一舉一動，都當為主而活、見證福音。此外，常為別人代求，把握機會見證主名，像保羅那樣，無論如何總要救些人，因為知道我們在祂裡面的勞苦不是徒然的。

The Dreamer-Joseph
Bible Reading:Genesis 37:1-10
The life story of Joseph is very important. It occupies most of the last 14 chapters of Genesis. Joseph was the link between Israel as a family and Israel as a nation. Only 70 people went down into Egypt at Joseph's invitation but over two million left there in the Exodus 400 years later.
But we can also identify with him personally in many of his true-to-life situations and temptations. As a teenager he was tested severely when he tried to share his God-given visions with his own family. Even his father's special love for him seems to have hindered rather than helped.
Then he was tempted frequently in his place of employment, a sad story with a traumatic ending. Much later he moved into an upper-income bracket and a place of enormous power. Many men have succumbed to the temptations which come with such a position. Each of these situations can be the experience of many Christians today and are still as dangerous as they were back there in Joseph's day.
As you read the story of Joseph's teenage dreams, what did you think? Would he have been better off to keep quiet about what God was revealing to him? It is sometimes easy isn't it, to alienate our own family when telling them about our spiritual experiences if they are not believers. They may not understand and barriers can be built up which may take a long time to break down.
What was the root of the brothers' problem? Jealousy? But no matter how his brothers treated him, Joseph did not retaliate. Even as a teenager he seems to have had a special link with God. Joseph knew what it was to trust him, although the way ahead with its ultimate fulfillment of his dreams was not clearly seen. All he knew was that God was in control of his life and circumstances. Can't we take that same position today?

「不從惡人的計謀，不站罪人的道路，不坐褻慢人的座位。惟喜愛耶和華的律法，晝夜思想，這人便為有福！」（詩1：1, 2）
詩篇中充滿寶貴的應許，在這開始的一篇中就有一個非常寶貴的應許，也是非常重要的指示，應該甚麼樣的人有福。不是任何人都有，乃是有的人有。這裡提到惡人、罪人、褻慢人，都是神不喜悅的人，結局必至滅亡，甚麼樣的人有福呢？乃是那些與惡人有分別，不與之有分，不沾染他們的罪惡、污穢，並且加以憎惡，遠離的人。
積極方面，是喜愛神的話語、律法，晝夜思想，以至心思意念都被神的話語所充滿的人，要像栽於水旁的樹，按時結果，凡事順利不怕災害，因有神的話同在，也就有神的同在。這樣的人非常踏實，穩固。在神的眼中有價值，而惡人則如糠?一般，被風吹散，在審判時要受刑罰。
這很清楚告訴我們每天晝夜都要思想神的話。片刻不離，以至思想與神的話溶和一起。凡與神的話不合的思想，言行都要趕出，一切以神的話為準則，依據。這樣藉著神的話與神同行是何等有福！

WILL CHRIST SAY TO US 'WELL DONE'?
Bible Reading:Matthew 25:14-30
One sentence in this parable is often quoted and re-quoted. It is the phrase: 'Well done good and faithful servant'. How many times have you heard it? The thought of hearing or not hearing those words has challenged many Christians to greater service for Christ.
The parable teaches clearly that Christ was going away for an extended period but would finally return. In the meantime he would give his servants one or more 'talents' to be used for him. We could call these 'gifts'.
Just as in the parable, some Christians are faithfully using their spiritual gifts for Christ. Some have several gifts. Others may have only one or two. But whatever we have we are to use them for the sake of Christ, the spread of the Gospel message and to help others. They are not for our own benefit or glory.
What about the man who hid his one talent rather than use it for the master? This part of the story cannot be used to prove a Christian can lose his salvation. This parable is about accountability for service, not about our security in Christ.
As with all parables and analogies, some details cannot be applied. It is the central message which is important. While the Master is away his servants (all believers) have a responsibility to serve him and to use the gifts he has given to each one. He will hold us accountable. Remember: 'We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done in the body' 2 Corinthians 5:10.

又愛又怕
馬太福音26：69-75
同處大祭司官邸，耶穌正在內庭被無理審訊、受盡羞辱；彼得則在外庭因被差役們認出身分而受盡威嚇。
在三次不認主的過程中，由簡單的回應、到起誓、到最後起毒誓，彼得一次較一次言詞強烈的否定與主的關係。他嘗試移動自己的位置，來避開差役們的眼目，由院子裡走到門口，但就是不忍踏出官邸；連續數次被人認出他，心靈承受的壓力相信越來越大，他本來可以一走了之的解決問題，只是不捨得離開。彼得怎可離開？他掛念著耶穌，他冒險來到這裡，就是為了「要看這事到底怎樣」啊（58）！
彼得愛耶穌，他甘願冒險，只是當危險真的來到，他卻害怕了！早前在客西馬尼園裡，他不是很勇敢的嗎？為甚麼現在又那麼軟弱？因為那時的耶穌就在彼得身旁（51）。現在的彼得看不見耶穌，只是孤單一人與差役們在一起，自?的意識便強了，況且，他也許認為，否認耶穌也不見得就會對祂造成任何的傷害啊！為了生命的安全，彼得三次不認主。然而「雞就叫了」。雞的叫聲簡直如晴天霹靂，把飽受驚嚇的彼得喚醒過來，原來主耶穌知道這一切！剎那間，彼得自責得很厲害，即時衝出門外，痛哭起來，因為知道傷害了主。
我們一個人身處陌生的環境、面對試探時，會有甚麼反應？在辦公的地方周圍都是未信主的同事，我們的表現又如何？背著人的時候，會說人的是非嗎？彼得的經歷告訴我們，主知道一切；我們背著祂做的錯事、說的壞話，都會使祂受辱，傷害著祂的心。若我們真的愛祂，就要維護祂的名字，不要怕承擔後果的為祂作出犧牲。

拯救到底
「凡靠著他進到　神面前的人，他都能拯救到底，因為他是長遠活著，替他們祈求。」（來7：25）
基督教的寶貴，不只是有好的道理，更有一位可靠的救主，若只有一些美好的道理，信條叫人遵守，結果要和舊約時代的以色列人一樣，有律法和先知的教導，卻不能謹守遵行，因而成為定罪的根據。但新約時代，神差來一位救主，祂不僅講許多寶貴的道理，也賜給人遵行的能力，祂不但為我們的罪死了，復活了，祂又升到天上，作我們的中保和大祭司，為我們代求，要保守我們到底。
所以，當我們感到信心軟弱，靈性軟弱，無力得勝，無力自救，自己沒有辦法往前走，甚至要跌倒失敗的時候，當想到我們有一位救主，祂要救我們脫離罪惡，勝過世界，成為聖潔，祂能體恤我們的軟弱，祂能搭救我們（來2：18；4：15）。所以每當我們軟弱，無力勝過試探的時候，不必懼怕，應當坦然無懼的來到施恩寶座前，為要得憐恤，蒙恩惠作隨時的幫助（來4：16）。我們有軟弱和失敗，所以我們不離開主，不能不時時倚靠祂，常常禱告。因為離了主，我們就不能作甚麼（約15：5）。

RE:Can I do what i want?

凡事我都可行，但不都有益處。凡事我都可行，但無論哪一件，我總不受它的轄制。」（林前六12）
這是保羅行事的準則，也是基督徒行事的原則。在這準則裡，我們清楚看見三方面的要點：
一．「凡事我都可行」，說出我們既在基督裡得釋放，就不再被罪的鎖鏈捆綁，也不再被魔鬼邪靈奴役，就如有些原來拜慣偶像的素食者，信主之後便敢於吃葷。因著我們是在基督裡得自由的人，就可以凡事因信而行。
二．「凡事我都可行，但不都有益處。」雖然《聖經》沒有把基督徒行事為人的每一個細節都列出來，但很清楚的讓我們看見基督徒行事的準則：留意所行之事是否有益處。例如：《聖經》沒有明文說不可看電影，然而，時下的電影多是色情和暴力，或是宣揚人性的狡猾、狠毒、詭計多端，肯定是無益的。再說，每次看完電影是叫我們的心更遠離神？還是親近神呢？結果就顯出有益與否。
三．「凡事我都可行，但無論哪一件，我總不受它的轄制。」「總不受它的轄制」也是我們行事的準則，就如《聖經》雖然沒有記載說「不准抽煙」，然而照此準則，我們知道抽煙不但對人的身體有害無益，且會轄制人，令人上癮。因此，凡是與我們無益、令我們被轄制的事，我們一概不行，好過一個榮神益人的生活。

RE:Prayer LIFE!

KEEP ON PRAYING
Bible Reading:Luke 18:1-8
Can you picture this Jewish widow? Can you see her going again and again to this cold-hearted, unbelieving judge? We are not told how old she was. Presumably she was poor.
She was a persistent woman, but there was another who was equally persistent. That was her adversary. Was he a debt collector? Or a tax-gatherer? Or perhaps someone who was trying to steal her late husband's land?
Being a widow she had little support and the judge was not impressed with her case. It could be that bribery was all that moved him. So how does she finally get what she wants? By sheer persistence. She came back time and time again until the judge said: 'All right I will do what you want'.
Our Lord went on to say: 'If a wicked human judge will respond like that, just think of what your loving heavenly Father will do. He may keep you waiting but it is only to be sure you are in earnest. God will answer your persistent prayers and he will do it quickly'.
The word 'quickly' may not mean that your first cry will be answered immediately. Sometimes it is. But there are times when we know God's will for a situation but the answer does not come. What is God waiting for? His timing. When God's will and God's time co-incide, he can act quickly. You might even be surprised how quickly and suddenly he does act.
Christ's final words are very interesting. He asks a question:
'When I come back, will I still find the same kind of persistent, faithful praying I am talking about?'.
That is quite a question. How would you answer it, realising the possibility of Christ coming today?

RE:Out of this "WORLD"

但如今我寫信給你們說，若有稱為弟兄，是行淫亂的，或貪婪的，或拜偶像的，或辱罵的，或醉酒的，或勒索的；這樣的人不可與他相交，就是與他吃飯都不可。」（林前五11）
本處所提到的情形，不但曾發生在昔日哥林多教會中，也同樣發生在末世的教會中。許多基督徒往往對於上述所列犯罪的光景，帶著姑息和包容，或是無所謂、滿不在乎。豈不知神是輕慢不得的，人種的是什麼，收的也是什麼；順從情慾撒種的，必從情慾收敗壞。
保羅在此指出我們對罪該有的態度，也指明基督徒相交的原則。對那些行淫的肢體，不但不可相交，也不可一同吃飯，免得等於認同他犯罪的行為。若神的兒女都能遵行主的吩咐，那犯上述之罪的肢體，就必憂傷痛悔歸向主，像當日哥林多教會中那娶繼母、犯淫亂罪的人，後來因著教會的對付而徹底悔改，重新蒙教會接納。
親愛的弟兄姊妹，我們現今雖然生活在新約時代，站在神的恩典中，然而，神的公義和威嚴並沒有改變，若我們隨意犯本節所提的罪，神必要追討。我們應常存儆醒、敬畏神的心，從這色情淫亂的世代中分別出來，免得那日憂愁、恐懼地見主。

RE:Do not love the world?

不愛世界
「這世界和其上的情欲，都要過去，惟獨遵行神旨意是永遠長存。」（約壹2：17）
這一節聖經是太重要了，太寶貴了，太真實了，它會將我們的宇宙觀，人生觀完全改變過來。指出我們當行的道路，當過的生活，給我們看到萬事的結局和最終的歸宿，它是我們的座右銘、指南針、路上燈。我們今生和永遠的成敗，榮辱全在於是否遵守這經上的話，因為它時時，處處與我們發生關係，需要我們作出揀選和決定。究竟要甚麼：世界和其上的情欲呢，或是神的旨意。
世界本是神造的，但世界的情欲卻不是從神來的，由於世界已經敗壞了，完全被情欲玷污，浸透了。所以我們就不能再愛世界和其上的事。主已經將我們從世界選召出來，使我們不屬這個世界（約15：19），要救我們脫離這個以撒但為神為王的世界（林後4：4；約14：30）。所以愛世界就不能愛神，並且與神為敵（約壹2：15；雅4：4），因為世界充滿了撒但的網羅，世界的情欲更是它的毒鉤，千萬不能上當，陷落，被俘。
不錯，對墮落的人性來說，世界和其上的情欲是可愛的，具有極大的吸引力，似乎有割不斷的關係，很不容易擺脫它的勢力。似乎離了它們就活不下去了，然而屬基督的人是已經將世界和肉體釘在十字架上了，自己也已經與主同釘死了（加5：24；6：14）。今天活著只能為遵行神旨意而活，這是永遠長存的，而世界和其上的情欲都要過去，不會長存的。

RE:Good Man & Bad Man

A GOOD MAN LOST - A BAD MAN SAVED
Bible Reading: Luke 18:9-14
Can you picture these two men? Can you see them walking through the temple gate? One pushed his way in expecting everyone to make way for him. The other was well dressed, tax collectors were not poor. People did make way for him because he was a tax collector. Now the two men were opposites in their walks of life and in their approach to God, opposite in their approval by God.
Why did Jesus tell this story? Read v.9 again. He was speaking to those who felt they were self sufficient and did not see themselves as needy sinners before God.
The Pharisee saw nothing wrong in his life. He saw no need to ask God for anything. He was there to be seen. But it was the tax collector whom God accepted (v.14). Why? Why not the religious Pharisee who said he had done so much?
The tax collector took his place before God as a needy sinner. He actually said 'the sinner'. In other words, 'I see myself as the worst of sinners, please be merciful to me'. The word merciful means 'let your anger be removed from me'. His need is forgiveness, but he recognises what he really deserves.
His was a brief simple call, but Christ said he went home justified - made righteous in God's sight. This is perhaps the only time Christ used this word in this way.
It was Paul's word. He had been a Pharisee. (Was he the one in Christ's story?) But one day he met Christ and saw himself as THE sinner. He called himself the chief of sinners by~ he was justified, made righteous before God, through Christ's death.
Have you come to that place? Everyone needs to.

正邪有別
馬太福音26：47-56
想捉拿耶穌的人為甚麼需要猶大領路？
因為猶大是耶穌的門徒，知道耶穌經常會來這個園子（47，參約18：2）；在星光微弱的黑夜，再加上人人都披上了外袍，外人很難認得出誰是耶穌的，這時，熟悉耶穌身形的猶大就大派用場了！猶大用親嘴為記號，便把耶穌輕易突顯了出來。人與人之間的親切關係，本來是保護性的，卻因人的邪惡而帶來極大的破壞力。
猶大為甚麼要以親嘴為出賣恩師的記號？
「親嘴」是學生向老師問安的慣常做法。猶大心虛，要以親嘴、這樣親密的行動來掩飾惡行，為的是不想讓其他門徒知道他內心的秘密。對於他的假情假意，耶穌不領情，更坦然無懼地直接指出他的不懷好意（50）。正直的人坦言，邪惡的人卻滿了虛偽！
門徒彼得護主心切，在危急和混亂中，勇猛地拿起刀來，毫不遮掩的就朝對方砍下去！耶穌愛彼得，身處急難的祂仍不忘為彼得的安全著想，立刻制止彼得這個危險的行動（52）。主愛天父，明知災禍就在眼前，仍選擇了忠於天父的旨意，好讓經上所說的話得以應驗（54）！真摯的愛在這電光火石間，流露得淋漓盡致！
那班人為甚麼要等到暗淡無光的晚上才捉耶穌？因為惡人不敢在白日裡公然作惡（55，參21：46）！
正和邪永遠有分別！我們知道應該真誠，但當遇上不想面對的事、或想避免某些麻煩時，會否傾向選擇虛偽？當看見弟兄犯錯，我們會提醒他、還是因怕尷尬而裝作不見？在一個坦誠交往的小組裡，我是個保密的人，還是會不經意的就出賣了人的私隱？為所愛的人，我可以付上多少代價？我做事經常會偷偷摸摸嗎？做的是甚麼事？請經常這樣檢討自己！
祈禱：親愛的主，甚麼時候我都願意與你同一陣線的，請你幫助我常常警醒！

RE:Do it out of LOVE!

我被你們論斷，或被別人論斷，我都以為極小的事，連我自己也不論斷自己。」（林前四3）
「論斷」就是指背後的批評和定罪。許多基督徒常因被人背後批評、論斷而心靈受傷、跌倒，有的就因此和某些肢體過不去。請我們一起來思想保羅對被人論斷的態度：他曾為哥林多人得聽福音而受苦、受逼迫，為要把福音傳給他們，又為他們費財費力，盡心造就、牧養他們，但換來的卻是哥林多教會中部分聖徒對他論斷和批評。按理來說，他定會心靈受傷。
然而，感謝神，保羅一點沒有受到影響，因他把從人而來的論斷當作極小的事。噢！他內心所看重的，是那日主的評價和獎賞，人的批評、論斷從來不會摸著他的心，影響他事奉主的心情，反而叫他更注目基督，留心討主的喜悅。
親愛的弟兄姊妹們，今天在我們生活中，一方面要逃避論斷人的事，免得我們犯罪得罪主。另一方面，當我們被論斷時，應學習生命的功課，全心轉向主，只要忠心跟從主，把一切的惡名、美名、榮耀、羞辱都丟在背後而討主的喜悅。
在教會生活中，難免會有肢體之間的誤解、磨擦，求主保守我們常注目基督，用愛心互相寬容，用和平彼此聯絡，竭力保守聖靈所賜合而為一的心。

RE:God's way....

神的對待
「我願如壯年的時候，那時我在帳棚中，　神待我有密友之情；全能者仍與我同在，我的兒女都環繞我。」（伯29：4，5）
人生對許多人來說，不僅是一場夢，一幕劇，也是一個謎。人生的遭遇常常難測，就是對信神的人，到了一個時候，也能感到變化莫測，怨嘆不解。約伯在爐灰中，拿瓦片刮身體的時候，就發出不少的怨嘆，感慨，對於神的信實、公義、慈愛和對待他的目的都迷惑不解。雖然他在遭遇災禍的當時也俯伏敬拜神，說，「我赤身出於母胎，也必赤身歸回，賞賜的是耶和華，收取的也是耶和華，耶和華的名是應當稱頌的。」（伯1：21）可是在苦難和試煉繼續之中，就發生問題了。
他回想到從前的年日，那時神待他如密友一般與他同在，他的家庭環境，生活，地位樣樣都很好。可是如今面目全非了，一切都改變了，似乎被神離棄，人更靠不住，連自己也好像是兩個人了。整個的人生都不同了，這究竟是怎麼一回事呢？神真的變了心麼，不然為甚麼叫敬畏祂的人遭到不幸呢？
這個答案，並不容易，也可能因人而異，但神總有好目的，願意人得益處。如果能達到這個目的，那就是使人在損失，痛苦，變亂之中，看到不但萬事萬物，和世界的一切都和我們沒有甚麼實際的關係，連我們自己的生命存在，以及宇宙萬有都在神的權柄和旨意之中，只有信靠順服就好了（伯42：1-6）。

RE:Life after Death?

LIFE ON THE OTHER SIDE
Bible Reading: Luke 16:23-31
The teaching of the Bible and especially of Christ himself is that death is not the end of our existence. This story from Christ's own lips confirms this.
We saw yesterday the contrast of circumstances in the lives and the deaths of the rich man and Lazarus. How different it all was.
Now the scene has changed and we look at the contrast in their circumstances after death. Lazarus had very little in his life time except his faith in God. But that faith carried him through the valley into the presence of the Old Testament saints, gathered together with Abraham. It was a happy place of fellowship where they waited for Christ to come and take them into Heaven itself.
But in the other portion of the unseen world the rich man was in deep trouble. Was he surprised to find himself there? Was he even more surprised to see Lazarus with Abraham and the other saints?
Was that man there in an unhappy place because he had been rich? No. Both Abraham and Job had been very rich. He was there because during his earthly life he had not recognised his need of God. He had turned away from God. Now he was separated from God forever.
In life he had all he wanted. He could satisfy his every wish. Now none of his requests were granted. He was in a place of unsatisfied longings and an unbridgeable gulf. There was no way out of his terrible situation.
Physical death is not the end of our existence. Death is only a gateway. Either it leads to unending joy and blessing with Christ or it leads to a place on continued and eternal separation from God.
The choice is not made then - it is made here in this life on earth. What choice have you made?

「所以無論誰，都不可拿人誇口，因為萬有全是你們的。」（林前三21）
誇口是驕傲的表現，也是屬肉體的產物。今天世人常誇耀他們在地上的成就，就如賺取錢財、學問淵博、地位高升、高人一等；而屬主的人，也常因他們所領受的恩賜、祝福、啟示而誇口。昔日巴比倫王誇口說：「這大巴比倫不是我用大能大力建為京都，要顯我威嚴的榮耀麼？」（但四30）結果惹來神的審判，便如牛到野外吃草七年之久，正如經上說：「驕傲在敗壞以先，狂心在跌倒之前。」（箴十六18）
拿人誇口也同樣是驕傲的表現，因為標榜某屬靈偉人，以他來誇口，就等於表明自己是屬於他的，好像有分於他的優點，似乎變得高人一等。昔日的哥林多教會就是這樣，有人指著彼得誇口，有的指著保羅誇口，有的指著亞波羅誇口。因此，產生貴重這個、輕看那個的分門別類的現象。
今天，神兒女中間也面對相同的危機。許多人常以某些屬靈偉人來誇口，而輕看其他主的僕人，這些都是屬肉體的表現。雖然有些主的僕人特別給主重用，但我們也不應以他來誇口，更不應標榜屬於某人，如經上說：「誇口的當指著主誇口。」（林前一31）是的，除了主之外，沒有一人是完全的；除了主之外，沒有一個不是領受的。所以，我們除主之外別無所誇，只有一心追求主，一生高舉主名，榮耀全歸主。

RE:Awareness in Prayer

警醒禱告
馬太福音26：36-46
吃罷逾越節晚餐，也和門徒分享過那快將臨到的攻擊，主耶穌便帶領門徒去到客西馬尼園禱告。
「我心裡甚是憂傷，幾乎要死。」主坦然告訴門徒。從未有過的、極沉重的傷痛在心頭泛起，主知道自己需要警醒禱告，門徒也需要警醒禱告（38）。主一次、兩次、三次的伏在地上禱告天父，屬靈與肉體的抉擇在祂裡面激烈地爭戰。「不要照我的意思，只要照你的意思」，每次禱告主都得勝，但每次都未能真的解決問題，直到第三次禱告，祂的心靈才完全安頓下來。祂從門徒身上得不到太多的支持，他們是願意警醒禱告的，只是每一次都在禱告中睡著了，「你們心靈固然願意，肉體卻軟弱了。」主瞭解他們的狀況。
禱告的時刻已盡，惡夢宣告正式開始！「看哪！賣我的人近了。」主說。耶穌勇於面對，無半點畏懼，因為祂有警醒禱告。大難臨頭之前，我們最需要做的是甚麼？主耶穌告訴我們，是警醒禱告，因為這時的我們最需要的是天父的幫助。「警醒」是保持自己清醒，知道自己做甚麼，因為能專注也就能回應，這是禱告必須有的精神狀況。耶穌投入這樣的禱告裡，與天父盡心交往，才得著力量去衝破心靈的障礙。
我們都知道禱告的重要性，相信也必常常禱告，但能否做到警醒禱告，才是關鍵所在。有些人禱告的內容十分因循，保持「警醒」會有一定的困難；有些人禱告時魂遊像外，也是很難「警醒」；忙碌的都市人，晚上可以禱告的時間多半是三更半夜，人疲累的時候，禱告也必如門徒一樣，講不到半句便睡著了。
我們的禱告生活若天天如此的話，怎能享受禱告、或領受得到禱告帶來的恩典呢？
祈禱：願天父幫助我重視禱告生活，並努力改善禱告的時間。

YOU CANNOT BUY SALVATION
Bible Reading: Luke 16:19-24

This is a story of contrasts. The first scene shows us two men here on earth. The picture of the rich man is easily imagined. Was he 'newly rich'? He ate extremely well and had a magnificent wardrobe. Even the gate mentioned in the story means a gate of beauty. Yet his life was empty. His heart was given to gold instead of to God.
Lazarus was the opposite in every thing. He was a beggar, apparently lame, weak in body, desperately in need, almost living on garbage. But Lazarus had something the rich man didn't have. He had faith in the mercy of God.
But surely something was wrong. Couldn't God have provided better for Lazarus? Yes, he could but then we don't know all the circumstances. We only know he must have loved God and counted on his mercy.
Was there no bitterness, no rebellion in his heart? We don't know, but we do know the Lord knew his name and the rest of the story proves this.
Now comes the contrast in their deaths. It seems the beggar died first. There is no record of his funeral, even though he must have had a few friends. What happened to his body doesn't matter. He had finished with it and was living in a new sphere of light and joy.
The rich man died and no doubt had a lavish funeral with plenty of mourners. They would really have mourned if they had known where the rich man had gone.
The eternal destiny of every human soul is determined here on earth. Lazarus believed in God here. God honoured his faith. The rich man had no time for God. Then God could only allow him to go on into eternity along that same path - isolated from God.

永遠的祝福
馬太福音26:26-35
心情雖然沉重，耶穌和眾門徒也要繼續吃逾越節的晚餐。大家在吃的時候，耶穌拿起桌上的餅和杯來，為門徒和日後的所有信徒設立了聖餐。
主用了很實在的兩樣東西，來代表祂要成就的救恩，因為祂就是那「道成肉身」的、很實在的一個人。一個完整的餅被擘開，代表祂的身體就是這樣地被人摧殘；杯中的葡萄酒卻代表祂所流出來的血；就這樣的，主犧牲了自己來為人類成就救恩！那是一個極為殘酷的方式，因為罪惡是殘酷的，罪人也就是這樣殘酷地對待祂！惟有這樣，主才能拯救罪人脫離那本應是他們要承擔的、殘酷的罪債！祂為所有的罪人付上了代價。
「你們拿著吃……你們都喝這個。」就在吃和喝的行動中，人便接受了主為他所作出的犧牲；而餅和酒所代表的主便進入了人的生命，不再分開，人的罪也得著赦免了。「吃」和「喝」成為了人與主立約的行動。這是一個永恆的約，有效期直到在天家裡和主共進天國筵席的日子（26?29）。
當時的門徒不會明白這一切，因為救恩還有待成就，所以聖經雖明明的說了「牧人被擊打的時候，羊就分散了」，他們仍堅持說不會！甚至表示為了主，他們連死都不怕！他們雖無知自己的軟弱，但對主的心卻是真實的，特別是彼得。
主耶穌對我們的愛實在無與倫比！每一次的聖餐聚會，祂都在對我們作出提醒、肯定，祂會永遠地愛我們！讓我們透過所領受的餅和杯來感受這份愛，同時懂得感謝祂、欣賞祂！「主耶穌，我願意以真心來回應你對我的真心。阿們！」

為主活著
「原來基督的愛激勵我們。因我們想，一人既替眾人死，眾人就都死了；並且他替眾人死，是叫那些活著的人不再為自己活，乃為替他們死而復活的主活。」（林後5：14，15）
基督到世上來救罪人，完全是出於祂的自願和愛心。祂可以不來為人代死，而任人滅亡，然而祂竟替我們眾人死了，祂的死就是我們的死，我們今天能夠活著，是祂的死換來的。祂替我們死，是叫我們不再為自己活，乃為祂而活。不然我們只有自己死，而且是永死了，人也不可能一直為自己活著，不久總要死去。但現在為主活，卻能永遠活著。
為主活是信徒最基本的責任，否則辜負主的愛，虧欠主。所以不會有平安喜樂，因為與主救贖的目的不合。惟獨為主活才覺得看到生活的目的和意義，才有真正生存的價值和依據，會感到不虛空，不徒然，有主的同在，將來能到主那裡與祂同居，享受祂的福分與快樂。
為主活並不容易，一切不為自己，放棄自己的意念、喜好、欲望，沒有自己的目的、追求、活動，完全由主管理。有時是叫我們作自己所不願作的，有時是叫我們甚麼都不作，靜靜地為祂活著，這對肉體來說是難受的，然而心靈卻有說不出的喜樂，榮耀和盼望（彼前1：8），因為這就是愛主的表現。

THE CASE OF THE USELESS FIG TREE
Bible Reading: Luke13:1-9
What is God really looking for in his children? He is looking for I evidence that the Gospel message is being fruitful in and through our lives.
Christ had just spoken about repentance when he told this story. Some people had told him about the death of a number of persons through Pilate's actions. They must have inferred that the ones killed, must have been real sinners.
But Christ took up that inference and said: 'No, they weren't particularly bad sinners. You can't say that they were any worse than anyone else'. Then he added 'You know don't you that unless you repent and turn to God, you will perish like everyone else who refuses to do so'.
Then he told this story which illustrates what God is looking for - fruit in his children.
Why did the owner give the fig tree room on his land? The answer is because he expected it to produce figs. He had a right to expect figs but what did he find? Only leaves!
The fig tree was well known by the Israelites as a symbol of themselves as a nation. Israel had been given a prominent place in God's vineyard but the results had been sadly disappointing, year after year, generation after generation.
God had shown great patience but sooner or later the axe of judgment would fall unless they repented. See the end of the chapter.
Isn't that true for everyone - Jew or non Jew?

這邊廂，耶穌正在向門徒揭露自己受難的日期就在兩日後的逾越節；那邊廂，宗教領袖們卻在密謀要捉耶穌，並且議決了不在節期內下手。兩邊的氣氛都十分沉重，人也非常緊張，一切表現均與逾越節和除酵節、那即將來臨、為紀念民族新生而有的歡樂節期氣氛極不相襯！苦難的事雖然縈繞在主的心間，然而西門開放自己的家來接待主，有一個女人也拿來珍貴的香油、澆在主的頭上等事，稍稍為主帶來了溫馨。
沒有人會認為西門接待主和門徒是件浪費的事，因為它的價值和意義很明顯；但那女人做的事又有甚麼價值？門徒在生氣，又說只要把香油變賣，便有很多錢來賙濟窮人等的晦氣話，由此可知那香油的確很珍貴；假如它就是真哪達香油的話，那瓶香油便相當於一個工人的全年薪酬了！這麼貴重的東西被用來澆在耶穌的頭上，若不是為了一些特別的意義，就真是一件非常浪費的事了。

耶穌為她解釋說：「（那）是為我安葬做的。」（12）據知，門徒已先後三次聽過耶穌受難的預告，剛才又多聽了一次，可是他們仍不醒覺到這個意義，那女人又怎會知道呢？誰能告訴她？因為除了門徒，耶穌再沒有告訴任何人。相信是出於愛和聖靈的感動，那女人才會這樣甘心地向主奉上珍貴的香油。
耶穌肯定了她所做的價值！所澆的香油即使有多珍貴，如果耶穌不欣賞，又有何用？是為祂做的啊！所以，只要耶穌欣賞和稱讚，那就夠了！
很多時候，我們也會不自覺地犯上門徒的毛病，就是以事情的結果來評估事情的價值，或用來決定是否要作該事情的準則；然而，服事主的事往往是不容易看到結果、也不一定會有相應結果的。例如：我們不應因為看見教會有明顯需要才奉獻，如果是因為愛主、因為教會就是主的身，我們就樂於奉獻的話多好！我們憑著愛、順應聖靈的感動、為主作的一切服事和奉獻都是有意義的，絕不會浪費，縱然目前未必那麼快看到成果。
請想想我持守的價值觀與誰較為相似，是門徒的還是那女人的？

祈禱：
主啊，在服事你的事上，求主幫助我不要吝嗇。

羅馬人說：勿將自己要避免的痛苦，加在別人的身上。

猶太拉比說：你所厭惡的，不要向別人那樣行。

他們都不約而同地從消極方面留下了睿智的道德遺訓，足以讓人善待自己，善待他人，更可成功地減少衝突，避免傷害。
不過，這其實不是額外的善行，而是必須的行為，甚至可說是法律的原則，不然，生活秩序將一片混亂。
耶穌卻說：你們願意人怎樣待你們，你們也要怎樣待人。
這才是社會倫理最崇高的目標，是基督教道德倫理的顛峰，不是消極地限制自己的行為，乃是積極地付出自己的愛心。
消極的法則讓社會生活風平浪靜；積極的法則讓社會生活光輝燦爛。
因為全律法都包在愛人如己這一句話之內了。(加5：14)

Mother's Day History

Origin of Mother's Day goes back to the era of ancient Greek and Romans. But the roots of Mother's Day history can also be traced in UK where a Mothering Sunday was celebrated much before the festival saw the light of the day in US. However, the celebration of the festival as it is seen today is a recent phenomenon and not even a hundred years old. Thanks to the hard work of the pioneering women of their times, Julia Ward Howe and Anna Jarvis that the day came into existence. Today the festival of Mothers day is celebrated across 46 countries (though on different dates) and is a hugely popular affair. Millions of people across the globe take the day as an opportunity to honor their mothers, thank them for their efforts in giving them life, raising them and being their constant support and well wisher.

Earliest History of Mothers Day
The earliest history of Mothers Day dates back to the ancient annual spring festival the Greeks dedicated to maternal goddesses. The Greeks used the occasion to honor Rhea, wife of Cronus and the mother of many deities of Greek mythology.

Ancient Romans, too, celebrated a spring festival, called Hilaria dedicated to Cybele, a mother goddess. It may be noted that ceremonies in honour of Cybele began some 250 years before Christ was born. The celebration made on the Ides of March by making offerings in the temple of Cybele lasted for three days and included parades, games and masquerades. The celebrations were notorious enough that followers of Cybele were banished from Rome.

Early Christians celebrated a Mother's Day of sorts during the festival on the fourth Sunday of Lent in honor of the Virgin Mary, the Mother of Christ. In England the holiday was expanded to include all mothers. It was then called Mothering Sunday

Few years back that was a movie call "Titanic", is very famous movie which many people had watch it and did not forget the story in the movie. As the history tell us, the final count of the Titanic Ship is sinking into the ocean due to the accident of heading the ice mountain.How true is the story about goes by? we are not sure,but from story that told us before the ship heading to the ice mountain, people were panic and human inner dark side was showing out because the disaster happen. The human pride and selfishness can piratically live out in our daily life. When things is going smoothly people will enjoy them self and each other but when the time of difficulties or troubles come, mostly people will have greed to protect their own and never care to others. Are we not facing this attitude when the time come?
We are God's calling people to become one in His family. We are all participate in a boat call "The Gospel Boat". We know our identity and our mission in this world, is to fulfill the purpose of God had call us today. We are in the same boat and by all means we have to stick together and to serve Him better and giving our best to God.
We had our role and parts to serve in this gospel boat, the ministries we are serving now is to help to grow more mature and is to edify us to be more like Jesus Christ! I pray that our spiritual life will not become the Titanic Ship which sinking down to the ocean and still do not know what is happening.If we have ears we will listen to HIM...

하나님과 인터뷰 하는 꿈을 꾸었다.
God asked
하나님께서 물으셨다.
"So you would like to interview me?"
"그래, 나를 인터뷰하고 싶다구?"
"If you have the time," I said.
"예, 시간이 허락하신다면요"
God smiled.
하나님은 미소 지으셨다.
"My time is eternity...
what questions do you have in mind for me?"
"내 시간은 영원이니라...
뭘 묻고 싶으냐?"
"What surprises you most about humankind?"
"인간에게서 가장 놀랍게 여기시는 점은 어떤 것들이세요?"
God answered...
하나님께서 대답하시기를,
"That they get bored with childhood, they rush to grow up,
and then long to be children again."
"어린 시절이 지루하다고 안달하며 서둘러 어른이 되려는 것,
그리고 어른이 되면 다시 어린애로 돌아가고 싶어 하는 것."
"That they lose their health to make money...
and then lose their money to restore their health."
"돈을 벌기 위해 건강을 해치고나서는,

"That by thinking anxiously about the future,
they forget the present,
such that they live in neither the present nor the future."

God's hand took mine
and we were silent for awhile.
하나님은 내 손을 잡으셨다.

Mother's day is just arround the corner,many people are preparing to celebrate with their mother. What do you think of our mother's day? Mother's day is the world celebration day to our Mother. How do you feel towards your mother and are we really and truly appreciate what our mother done for us? When we were young, we can see how they sacrifice for us,caring and loving us, and as we are growing up , we do not want to be like "baby" being "pushing" around, so we want freedom, and somtime we "fight" for the freedom. We forgot how our mom did so many things for us....
How would you celebrate mothe's day with your mother? take her to a special dinner or buy a expensive gift for her? Why not we just choose to be obediant to our mother.
Not only once a year but the rest of our life, repect her as who she is and love her how she teach us and accept her what is doing for us.
She is a wonder woman in every people heart, and being her children must be proud and thankful to our mother. Let us love them from our heart and give them the best we can, therefore do not despite them when they are in old age, rather we love them as our heanvenly father love us so much....to all mom...you are "WONDER WOMAN"!

RE:HOW FANTASTIC YOU ARE?

How fantastic when a person had a super power to save people? I am a dreamer of many things, pretending a super hero helping and saving people from troubles and dangers, disguise as a martial art master,a person who know every move of the enemy, to defend and to attack, and that was during in the years 70's and 80's...
Fantastic 4 was one of my favourite and i saw part 1 few years back and now new season is coming soon..i am waiting for that. Why fantastic 4 must be 4, why nor 2 or 3 or only 1? do you ever ask this questions? may be not, that is not so important.
The most important is how are they coping to them self when each of them have gain their own super power and work as a team in facing many dangers and challenge in their daily lives. You must see it yourself than you know what is a true friendship and what will happen when your friend, team mate or family is having troubles? are you willing to lay down your arm to uphold them or just standing a side to become a "Watch Man" to yourself?
Today's church ministries must work as a team, remember the pcmc'c HAWK TARGET(go to older posting)? Ministries size does not matter, the matter is how we serve God as a team a His church. Are we willing to humble and submissive to God and do God's ministries in our best afford with fire and steadiness in our heart.
So,let the Holy Spirit to guide us in unity through Jesus Christ and in one heart we do many great and fantastic things to glorify Him! How fantastic we are,when we really giving our life as living sacrifice to our Lord Jesus Christ! Go for it pcmc'c family of GOD..

Spider's Man had came to "TOWN-kl,pj,klang,johor..whole Malaysia lah!"...
Is not easy to keep up the movie such as spider man, one of the production of Marvell production.Well,the movie is quite OK and satisfies to many people with some humorous action and conversation and some of them even laugh in the simplex too.For those who had watched the movie, you all know what the story about, and the main reflection is on the relationship between friendship itself and the inner part of the human heart..the dark side such as hatred, revenge,jealousy and etc.,all this is a fact happening in our daily life,are we not becoming the bondage of "REVENGE"?
Many people due to being hurt, slowly become hatred than planning to take revenge when times come.There is always a dark side in our heart, i call it "SINS".
Man were created by God, but because of pride, man choose to disobey God's word and fall short of the glory of God, because of sins man choose the way to destructive and no return....
We can see and feel how Peter Parker(Spider man)had internal struggling to choose good and evil,and that is a amazing part is when he came to a old church with a bell hanging inside and in a very short time he is trying to get out of the dark side in him because of the bell is swinging and making a sound which irritating him..
when i saw this, i had feeling many time we are trying to struggle to do good but we can not, but those things which is bad we do not want to do but i did it...
The "Church Bell" safe the day of spider man....finally he get out of the dark things(Alien occupation and habitation)inside him but unfortunately the new reporter get it inside,because of the hurt + hate = revenge, he became a venom spider man....
In our life there are many things we can not put it down, and hatred and revenge are becoming the occupants and habit ate inside our heart...not only in a social life and family life but also in our church life.Do we ever think that before?
As for me the most hierarchies in this movie is "FORGIVENESS"!! when Peter Parker said to the Sand Man.."I forgive you.." you can see the smile on peter parker face, his burden and bondage were put down and the joy flowing from his inner heart and that is why he smiled and relieve...
As for Peter Parker from a normal guy and becoming a super hero because a lab spider beaten him and inherit a amazing and strange power inside him,the great responsible he had to carry and the girl which he dream of and his best friend, all this surrounded this young man life..what would we do if we face the same incidents? are we giving up? or we can overcome it?
A questions had been ask "Can a man confront the forces of darkness without giving in to them?" What will you choose?
Today Christians life is a matter of choosing, to choose to follow God's word, listen to Him or follow our way and listen to our own voice. Read the bible you will find all the answers had been answered, when we choose His word's to follow we can overcome all things,as forgiveness, Jesus said forgive them and our heavenly will forgive us...are we still in bondage of hurt,hatred or revenge? let us open our heart and said "dear brothers or sisters..i forgive you", than we will feel the joy and forgiveness from God.
God died for us on the cross because of His love and forgiveness and now we are belong to God and God resurrection that give us hope and eternal life. What way will you choose? you know the answer by yourself......

Building a temple of God need time and hard work,the most important thing is church must have a vision and mission to base on Bible. We need to do many calculation before we start building a church building, and that is very true, we are not hesitate simply building up but we must put a lot of prayer and ask God to take charge in the process building HIS church. Our body is the temple of God, let us really give our self to our Lord, just recorded in Romans 12:1-2, offer our self as a living sacrifice to God. Therefore, before we build the church of God, let our heart be mold and confine to pleased HIM. So that when we give or do offering , we do giving the best to our Lord Jesus Christ, because all the glory is for HIM alone!
